- The 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt is a modern interpretation of a 1968 Mustang featured in an epic car chase in the classic movie, Bullitt. Given its connection to Steve McQueen and the 1960s, it’s easy to view the 2019 Mustang Bullitt as pure nostalgia. In contrast, Kelley Blue Book’s Micah Muzio thinks the latest Bullitt Mustang delivers much more than a trip down memory lane. In late december 2020 i stumbled onto a 2019 that only had 450 miles on it. I love it. Hopefully you still love yours too. Mine now has a grand total 3300 miles. Its like a $1000 a night hooker. Only to be enjoyed on periodic special occasions! But enjoyed it is😎
I did too. A great car. The only real problem with it is everybody on the street wants to race you. It tends to make you end up driving like the dude in the video...

Yeah..it's good to know. But if you live in traffic-heavy metropolis', it can become a bit of a pain. OTOH, ya won't be on your cell phone or trying to do makeup instead of driving.
The compulsory driver engagement that comes with every manual is the best safety feature of all.
Also the best anti-theft feature you can have on your car nowadays haha!
bigvirgotube it isn’t a headache once you get use to it. You don’t notice as much as people make it out to be.
As a 16 year old, I can't Comprehend the fact that most adults don't know how to drive manual.
First off- some stellar camera work in this one! Second- you had WAY too much fun driving that thing. Third- nice car.

Word of advice: never buy a press car
@@rubiks15 you can. I was offered one by Hyundai with an extended warranty for free. I turned it down for the 18 ford mustang. But the 2019 mustang with that "need for green" color looks to good to pass up.
@@rubiks15 unsure if it was a press car but the miles on it and what he said with it going to different show rooms and etc. I assume it was a press car. But unsure.
@@rubiks15 I had a 08. Bullitt press car purchased from local ford dealer back then. :) it was marked 08 on a strut bar, so it was 8th produced bullitt out of 4000(or 7000? Not quite sure at this point) they made during that year.
The dealer specifically explained it to me that it was a press car and is being offered with a discount + full warranty as if it was new for that reason. It had only 900 miles on it and offered at $ 30000 which is almost 7 grand cheaper that brand new. So I took the deal, and just drove that car as if it is still a press car for following 5 years until the warranty expires. It was a pure joy to drive a stang that way during the entire ownership, and I only had to do one suspension repair under the warranty during that period.
Now I'm driving hyundai ioniq hybrid since mustang can not fit two kids + their supplies in it, and I have to drive bunch more miles on daily basis. :( but video really make me want to get the bullitt again.
they are pre-production anyway. No loss...

As a huge Steve McQueen fan and a vast Mustang long-time enthusiast, the unfortunate thing preventing me from getting this Bullit is lack of funds at the moment

I kinda like the black one, it suits the newer body style. And it's a little more stealth because people won't know it's a Bullitt until they're close to it. But yeah if you're getting a Bullitt, might as well get the green.
If I were able to purchase one, I'd probably end up buying the Dark Highland Green one myself however if you do prefer the black one, it does seem on the prior Bullitts that the black ends up being a more rare color and, as a result, more valuable over time. The black one might be the smart one to get and it does look really good, too.
Maybe. The Ford GT 2004. Only a few were ordered in the blue and orange paint. Now they are worth a shit load more.
I was able to get the black 2008 Bullitt from an auction last year, but if I had a choice. I would definitely go for the green
Black is THE single worst colour you can buy. Shows every spec of dirt, shows scratches super easily. Most difficult to keep looking good.
@@thedon9670 Depends on the car and the circumstances. I think most Bullitt owners are going to go the extra mile to keep their car looking good so black isn't going to be that big of a headache. Plus with the new ceramic coatings, and all that kind of stuff there are ways to make caring for a black car a little easier.

Every mustang I've owned has been a bright color last was the 2010 grabber blue GT. I like the clean looks of this color with the hint of chrome

I really enjoy your reviews. The only thing I wish the channel would do is criticize the cars more. All the other channels don’t just discuss the pros, but where the down falls are and I think that’s missing here.

This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was.
