Looks great, very authentic to the original coin-op machine. Love the PCB and kickplate as well.
Yes, the details are spot on. I also love that there's no obvious screws or access points to make it look like a basic assembly line system. Looks very custom and solid.

Amazing levels of detail and as you point out, Chris, crispness of the display - astounding. My only complaint is the reduced scale... 1/6th - the buttons and the joystick and the screen. I'm sorry to sound so negative but I'd just find them all too dinky which is a shame as I can see that this is an excellent "scaled" product but scaled down too small for my individual tastes. However, I am a great fan of Berzerk/Robotron and if space is at a premium say in your man cave / apartment / bedroom etc, then go for it, guys because as Chris demonstrates there is so much quality going on here that you'd be crazy not to indulge your passion and GET THE HUMANOID, GET THE CHICKEN! etc :-) Brilliant, mate. Another quality video.
Thanks for support! There's actually a little bit more to this that I was saving for a "Part 2" because this one was over 20 minutes. Spoiler alert... don't read further if you want to be surprised haha. The 2 USBs on the back will allow you to use external controllers. Also, Berzerk's sequel is built in this system too. I'm trying to get that video out shortly before someone comments with, "Hey, you forgot some things."

They hinted that the faux plug is leading to something they haven’t announced yet. Maybe a wall with outlets? Anyway, I’m pleased with my Berzerk except I think when they upgraded the control panel to diecast metal the fire buttons lost some height do to the metal thickness, and so to me they feel a bit flat.
I didn't know that about the faux plug. Interesting! I compared the fire button with the only other replicade I have which is the Missile Command one and I see what you're saying. It's close to being flush.

Oh no. I didn't want to like or love your comment since you had an issue with your machine but I'm glad you made us aware. Did you contact New Wave Toys? Curious how the customer service experience is.
@@VintageGamingMemories I played the unit some more to break in the joystick a bit. It’s working better but I’ll let them know the issue.
Looks great, not really liking the power and volume on the top. Much prefer those to be on the rear of the machine, like my dragons lair and space ace.
I see how those have a toggle switch in back for the power. I guess they like to change it up. I do notice that when I press it with 1 tap to turn it on that it does take a second or two before you realize it's powering up and a few seconds on the shutdown after you tap it. I see your point that it does look cleaner with having all those in back. Thanks for sharing that.
