This is awesome! Honestly, I'm super happy with what this mini-pin represents as Black Hole is a game I hold a lot of nostalgia for, and simply seeing the backglass animated with lights and score, and sounding like the real game while also looking incredibly authentic --- I don't care if it's not playable. It's a beautiful addition to the classic 1:6 scale arcade cabinets, change machine, and eventually Zoltar and vending machines.
Unfortunately, I do care that it is not playable. I am disappointed that it is not. I bet they could make a working mini pinball machine, if they tried. I would buy one then.
@@TheOlvan The good thing is, there are plenty of alternatives (at mostly prohibitively higher price points) to satisfy those who want a playable mini pinball machine for nearly the price of a full size one. Or if you want a virtual pinball machine, those can be made in any scale and at many price points. I made a 1:1 virtual pinball machine for under $1000 many years ago. And it wasn't too long ago, you could buy full size original pinball machines for $1000-3000 regularly. I'm glad I acquired 10 of them before prices got so crazy the past several years, but you can still find deals out there occasionally.
A playable “Golden Age” pinball machine woulda been doable. Some of them didn’t even have flippers. And they’d look good next to the wood grain change and cigarette machines.
I love and don't love that new pinball i love the way it looks what i dont love about it is the $200+price tag for something that you can not even play unplayable bummer because i really want it

My preference however is for the playable games… And I’ll be ordering from NWT again when the mini TV monitors and/or DL II:Timewarp are available.. 👍🏻❤
Idk this is the first non playable arcade unit right. It LOOKS really good and has some cool features but really wish it was a digital pinball unit as well.
I could see why digital not an option. They’re called “Replicades”. But if at all possible any playable one would be awesome even if it was a simpler late 40’s / 50’s model.
Appreciate you moving forward and new things, but much of the allure of the products you offer is their functionality and accuracy. I am not interested in this, but will be looking forward to your next arcade. Lastly, I think a great bridge between arcade cabinets and pinball is: ICE COLD BEER! It’s a perfect transition into mechanical cabinets.
@@Ren_G. I think it’s desirable and might help to start the mechanics combined with the electronics. The ball, metals, boards, holes, and other components would likely bring them closer to a functional pinball. Not to mention they’d likely sell out quickly.

And realistically, how much fun can you have at 1/6 scale? NWT makes great products. I think, from a brand standpoint, they made the right decision. At the $159 discount price, I'm in. I don't think I'd be in at $199, however. Just not quite enough there for $199.
Did you notice how long it took you to power-on each game, fix the carpet, fix cables, etc. There should be a better way to power-on (and off!) the mini-cade.
Attract more would not include the sound of flippers. This should be an option along with quiet mode and random collection of the full range of sounds including tilt.

Attract mode plus simulated gameplay routines representing single and multiplayer modes. I think it's in "single player" here.

Because NWT is not in the business of replicating virtual pinball... or multicades, they aim for the real thing.
Id rather have a digital playfiled thats playable than a display piece that makes noise in attract mode loop, have at it.
