Thank you so much for this video!!! You saved me hundreds of dollars helping to diagnose this issue. We thought it was a fuel pump, after checking the fuses and voltages up front....we thought we had no other option but to replace the pump. Had no idea there was a drivers module that could so easily be replaced. I replaced it without jacking the truck up. I did though, have to lower the spare. About $40 spent and 20 mins later.......vrooooom!!!!! Great video!!!! Thank you 🙏🏾
Dude genuinely from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! SO FREAKIN MUCH, u don't even know, i pulled out my pump it looks brand new, and my car is doing the same thing mine is a 03 and the location is a little farther back which i found a tube that went nowhere. If you did not make this video, i would be pulling out my hair and cursing at the car. Thank you genuinely ur awesome thank you thank you thank you. The information is beyond helpful, u solved the problem for me thank you.
*update* This ended up being my problem. Thanks for the detailed video, thank god I didn’t have to drop the tank , thought for sure it was the pump. Thanks again.
I had same issue 06 Navi but no check engine light. Did your check engine light come on or did you just put the scanner on ?. Mine did the same thing , I felt it start to run shitty & wouldn’t get fuel when I gave it gas then It just died. I’m about to try this first , preying it’s not the pump. Very clear and informative video. Thanks.
Where region of country do u live? I'm wondering if it's not just salt. I live in Florida and having same symptoms. No stall while driving though. Also wrong fuel level on gauge. Could be sending unit. But checking module first
yohoolover1 I am not sure where fuel pump driver module is on a 07 Navigator but this thread below seems to state that it is located in the fuel the tank as part of the fuel pump assembly. www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1171069-2007-expedition-fuel-pump-driver-control-module.html

That may be the reason my engine flooded with fuel and hydro locked.
Sounds like you might of had a bad fuel injector that got stuck wide open.

I'm in the same boat. Check engine light came on too. But I'm not having any of the above problems. My navi is still running great!🤷♀️
