HS2’s executive chair Jon Thompson has confirmed today that the cost of the London-Birmingham phase could well be as high as £66bn. I want to know which grubby contractors are pocketing that on an inflated cost plus x% basis?
They'll be mates of government ministers, you can be certain on that. HS2 a pointless folly destroying the countryside so people In power can get rich. No benefit for anyone else
I noticed you managed to film a couple of the workforce actually working, that must have been something of a novelty. Numerous reports and investigations have highlighted the abysmal productivity levels on the HS2 project. Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the largely immigrant workforce could it ?

Is this place something to do with National Security? If so why ain't there armed security if it's so vital, no high fencing blocking the public view of the site, didn't any military aircraft patrolling the air space above. Do any of these security guards have National Security clearance and have permission to control public airspace over the site? I know it must be all that high explosives your drone is carrying, armed with all those automatic high velocity weapon. It's amazing what they can pack into or on, a drone these days. Or just maybe it could be that they don't want to be caught actually working for once.
