  • Thanks for Watching. This is a somewhat know about problem with the Fox 2.5" coilover hitting the brake line banjo bolts on an extended brake line modification on first gen Tundras and Sequoias. I am happy to report that the issue has seemed to have been fixed. Until I can do some off road testing i can not be 100% sure.

Im going with bilstein 6112, coil overs can be a pain, and more maintenance

2 years.... but just detach your UCA from the spindle and rotate it backwards... you'll be able reach the nut.

Do you happen to have your final dimension on how much thread is showing for preload? I am hopefully getting my bumper set up this weekend.

I don’t but I will try to grab a measurement as a jumping off point. Honestly it’ll probably differ for each specific vehicle but if it helps l I’ll get ya something. If you don’t here from me by Thursday remind me please. Thanks for watching Keith

Hey man got a quick question for ya. Did you trim your pinch welds? I'm looking to do mine and would sure like to see some reference material first.

I did not and I still get a slight bit of rubbing but not enough to bother me. If I ever go to 35's I'm definitely going to trim

Hello any chance you have the part number for the coil seat you got from Fox, thank you. Or any help to obtain the correct part.

I know I’m not asking this the right way but after all said and done is lift affected? …higher? Lower? The same? Also does this compress the shocks more or does the new bottom piece allow the shocks to decompress more than before? (Again, sorry, because I know that is a completely dog shit way of asking what I wanted to ask) lol.

Rec, no worries at all. Honestly I had to readjust the spring anyway when replacing the lower spring seat. No difference in rice and high really. It dos not come in contact with the banjo bolt now that I can see but I check often, before and after every trip.
