Simba chips are low quality junk. You eat them often they will scratch the roof of your mouth. Stopped eating them completely. I guess there is something better in the USA since food is cheap.

I only spent a couple months traveling throughout SA and have only been back home in the US for about 2 months but watching this video made me realize how much I miss SA!! When I lived in South Africa I'd always wanted to move overseas permanently, then I got a permanent job overseas and I've changed my mind completely now. Despite ANC, Zuma, Guptas, crime and potholes, SA you beauty. I'm never moving anywhere permanently, SA will always be home for me. 3 things I miss about SA: - Woolworths Food - Vrigin Active - DsTV I kid you not, you will not have any similar experience anywhere.

In the U.K. we have so many big supermarkets! Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer, Asda and more! Also we have a big pharmacy store called Boots where you can buy everything from makeup to skincare, health care, baby's nappies, medicine and toiletries!
There’s Woolworths in Australia and discount chemists too. The cheapest one is called Chemist Warehouse. Woolworths stock SA food and people drive on the left hand side. Wide roads, braais galore, still potholes but no load shedding. Also you can see for kilometres the Forrest or the open fields and there’s lots of animals too.
I literally just sent my mother a list of stuff to send to me here in California. Basically everything haha i miss lekker snacks. OMG its so difficult to find salt and vinegar chips here. Ahh woolies i miss the nougat and tennis biscuits and rooibos tea. Ok im going to stop.. but i loved the video.

Lived in Uganda for 21 years and missed bovril, nice brown bread, good biltong, (to mention a few) for years. Also missed DisChem. Now I am like a child in a chocolate factory..every shop is amazing and the variety of the same food is almost overwhelming. Dischem has been my major one lately I miss it, it’s a one stop for all those needs and more. Rooibos and Milo. And wimpy! I visited home in March and had a list for my mom to stock up.
here in the Algarve there are a few south african butcheries that sell boerewors and a specific one in portimao that sells plain rooibos and other south African goodies like cream soda and ugh I miss it all so much

Over there I felt totally free, connected with mother nature, walking without shoes!, eating lovely game meat, traveling and spotting wildlife in National Parks and Nature Reserves... Wines, what an amazing wines and wine farms! Extraordinary landscapes and hikes! Great food and wild braais with friends! Now I am like a child in a chocolate factory..every shop is amazing and the variety of the same food is almost overwhelming. Just great to be home - might not be for good but i will enjoy it while i can. I missed the way people talk - can listen for hours. Good luck with your adventures.
I didnt know Cream Soda wasnt in other countries i drink it all the time, and we braai and eat simba chips too so im shocked its not in other countries cause for me its like everyone knows about braai cream soda and simba chips
We have cream soda in australia but its red and taste nothing like south african cream soda

I am European and I have never been in South Africa but I have always been extremely curious about this country. I've seen a few movies and I have friends from South Africa. I think South Africa is one of the most interesting and beautiful countries in the world.

here in the Algarve there are a few south african butcheries that sell boerewors and a specific one in portimao that sells plain rooibos and other south African goodies like cream soda and ugh I miss it all so much

You should come to Australia we have we have a Woolworths and there’s a store in Tasmania where I get creame soda and biltong, there’s one thing that I miss the most that you can’t get in Australia and you can’t really find in South Africa any more and that’s chappies!!! I love them

I know how you feel +MelissaInLisbon . I am from Pretoria, but I live in Canada now. I miss the land and the wildlife so much. I wouldn't mind seeing potholes either. We actually have an SA shop near us, so we can buy Aromat, Fizzers, Chappies, biltong, etc. Make sure you enjoy and appreciate Oros, and the marshmallows with coconut on them. I miss those! And rusks... boy, I would love a rusk now. Anyway, thanks for the video! Take care.

Hi there! I am Jose from Madrid, Spain! I've been working and living in Cape Town for 3 wonderful and lovely years... I miss only one thing: EVERYTHING! Over there I felt totally free, connected with mother nature, walking without shoes!, eating lovely game meat, traveling and spotting wildlife in National Parks and Nature Reserves... Wines, what an amazing wines and wine farms! Extraordinary landscapes and hikes! Great food and wild braais with friends! The sun light is extraordinary beautiful... what about people? everyone has been really friendly with me. I have made a lot of friends... coming from Spain right after winning the World Cup was easier... I was a champion hehehehe.... In summary, South Africa has given me all I need to become a better man and these 3 lovely years living there has changed my way of living my life ... LOVE YOU SA!!!! T.I.A!!!!!
