Hello Angie - Great Bag for Miss Olivia an Easter Bag with Goodies. It is hard to believe that she is growing up quickly. Time is going by to fast. Thank you for sharing your project with us. Hugs to Olivia & you as well. 🤗💞💐
My goodness! I found your channel while by accident and I am SO glad I did. Your baskets and bags are absolutely beautiful. I am so very grateful for your generosity to offer the instruction for free -- what a gift:-). I will be making lots of these little gems for myself and for my sisters. Love your channel. Have a wonderful day! Linda
Thank you so much for this tutorial regarding using directional fabric. I was so confused about that. Thanks also for the guide to cutting fabric. Your tutorials are the BEST.
It would be 2 in half or 2 in a quarter inches down, what it looks like to me when I paused the video. So if you come down 2 inches that mean ya bottom will have a 4 inch bottom. So on any project with box corners if you want a 2 inch bottom then you come down 1 inch if you want a 3 inch bottom then 1 1/2 inches. Hope that makes since. What ever size bottom you want half that then come down. Hope that help
I would have thought you would have made your drawstring seams before you boxed your bottoms. That way you wouldn’t have to bother taking off your arm . You must have sticky interfacing . Never had a problem of it oozing and having to put a cloth on the seams. 🙂
So so cute... love the fabric. Thank you for sharing. P.S. Do you typically go to a special fabric store to get your products or do you go to a box store (Joanns, Hobby Lobby)?
@@chicnscratch Thank you so much. Your material always looks so nice and to be of good quality, so I was wondering. I think the Fat Quarter Shop is located in Buda, TX (not too far from me) and they only sell online... I like what I saw on their site too.
I found your video will looking for a tutorial to make a jumbo sized Santa sack, to deliver gifts to kids at Christmas. Hopefully, I I can figure out how to supersize your bags….

Excellent tutorial!
thank you!!
I like this video, but for the box corners , if you don’t have that ruler, how far down did you come on the corners!

If you sandwich your pressing between two pieces of kitchen parchment paper, the interfacing adhesive won’t get all over.
❤❤❤ great job I love it. You make it look easy
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful bags.
Thank you! 😊
So CUTE!!
thank you!!
Thank you so much for sharing!
You're very welcome!!
That is a cute little iron, what brand is it
From the philippines, i t so nice and want to make like this.
Oh, I love it Angie. Thank you so much! Riley Blake is some of my favorite fabric. What is the animal print?
I see it now. Echo park.

Thank you!!
Does the drawstring casing have raw edges though ? I think that would fray after a while? cute bag though
No, it doesn't have raw edges.
I found that mine did, although they are on the inside. I think I'll overcast or zigzag the edges of the openings just in case.
I would have thought you would have made your drawstring seams before you boxed your bottoms. That way you wouldn’t have to bother taking off your arm . You must have sticky interfacing . Never had a problem of it oozing and having to put a cloth on the seams. 🙂
Love your iron
So so cute... love the fabric. Thank you for sharing.
P.S. Do you typically go to a special fabric store to get your products or do you go to a box store (Joanns, Hobby Lobby)?
Thank you! I buy most of my fabric online and my two favorites are Fat Quarter Shop and Missouri Quilt.
@@chicnscratch Thank you so much. Your material always looks so nice and to be of good quality, so I was wondering. I think the Fat Quarter Shop is located in Buda, TX (not too far from me) and they only sell online... I like what I saw on their site too.
Can u tell me where to get your labels made. Thx
Sure, I buy them onine at the Dutch Label Shop.
Where do you buy the Echo Park fabric from? I had no idea that they made fabric.
I bought mine from Fat Quarter Shop. Go to their website and search for It's a Girl by Echo Park - Riley Blake Designs.
I found your video will looking for a tutorial to make a jumbo sized Santa sack, to deliver gifts to kids at Christmas. Hopefully, I I can figure out how to supersize your bags….
I have it already figured out (Santa Sack) and I plan on filming the video this weekend.
@@chicnscratch cool beans. Thanks!
I got my two top pieces sewed at the bottom but from there you lost me , I have white broad cloth for inside
I'm sorry about that! Watch my earlier video and hopefully that will help. th-cam.com/video/y94Y4yTtQQc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=X4cWKignY2B7bomS
What are drawstring used for?
I use them for giving gifts. And when I travel I keep my meds in one and some sewing projects in a larger one.
i need to trt this bag.
If you need any help let me know!!
No need for sewing police on our project ….😂. ….it is a great project. Thank you.😊
thank you!!
Yes there are tiny clips also …..as well as jumbo. -
do you know the size of them? I've tried find them on Amazon and none of them are smaller than the ones I already have.
Google clover wonder clips - Joann’s has them in all sizes - mini regular and jumbo 😊

To complicated and takes too long.
You can make this drawstring bag in less than 30 minutes. And, I can make it in even less time.My guess is... you did not attempt to make one. 🤷♀
