Kävimme tutustumassa legendaarisen Jarno Saarisen museossa.
Jarno Karl Keimo ”Paroni” Saarinen (11. joulukuuta 1945 Turku - 20. toukokuuta 1973 Monza, Italia) oli suomalainen ratamoottoripyöräilijä ja lajinsa ensimmäinen suomalainen maailmanmestari, vuodelta 1972. Hän sai surmansa kilpailuonnettomuudessa Monzan radalla.

As a boy my dad took me to Assen,where i saw Jarno for the 1st time...great guy,great racer.......called my son after him.....greets to Suomi,Finland from Holland.

I put this softly. Jarno`s memory idems are in funeral home garage. In race track sound more suitable. Maybe with opportunity drive replica bike around of track.

I saw Jarno race at Oliver's Mount Scarborough, a very trick road circuit. Jarno won he was awesome.

Why Kymiring Is not titled to him? He has been the best driver. Finnish people know this?

We know it very well of course. It isn’t named after him because the legendary Imatra street circuit is named after Jarno already. That’s the track where most of the Finnish motorcycle racing history is.
Other street track where the international road racing was held is Pyynikki street track in Tampere. Very dangerous one and not that famous.
Also KymiRing project has been a disaster so far, there hasn’t been any big events as they promised there would be. Money issue and COVID-19/the war in Ukraine didn’t help.
But yes, as I said Jarno has already his name on the track and venue that has meant most for the Finnish motorcycle and motorsport fans and ordinary people as well.
