I wonder why none where set up with poisonous blow dart traps because those would be easy to make with the materials they had available back then. All they would have needed was animal skins, bamboo, wood, rope, feathers, and stone, to build it. It could be set up with pressure plates and built to fire numerous darts.
Cinibar (ore in which mercury is found) is not deadly, it is open mined to this day, as a child I had a good size piece of it in my rock collection... and had a few ounces of liquid mercury that I used to play with in my hand. I am sure it is toxic... but its not deadly by a long shot, brief exposure would not even be toxic... it is still used in amalgum dental fillings. The reason emperor Chins grave has not been open its not of scare of the mercury or traps. Its because they dont know how to preserve things like silk and other similar things.

The guys in the hole don't die by starvation. They die because of dehydration and thats even more cruel.

the first people to start digging at Oak island were from the 18th century. They did some digging and then went home. They came back 2 days later and thats when they saw the hole was filled with water.
That’s why we need highly advanced controllable robots to explore them for us

Oak island had no traps, it's deterioration. and I do believe there is a current TV show of treasure hunters finding multiple sites on oak island searching for the treasure
The oak island treasure hunt did not start in 1975, rather the late 18th century.

"Deadly Neurotoxin"
*GLaDOS has entered the chat*
"All I need is a bit of neurotoxin"
(toxic yes, but not deadly as presented by this narrator)
You know someone’s Christian when they say BC instead of BCE or AD instead of CE.
