    It's like exercise,you don't get stronger in one exercise session you actually get weaker from fatigue but with time and adaptation you will get stronger (faster) as you continue training.

    I've been contemplating getting these. It would be great if you would video your progress as you work through the program. I'd like to see your results after at least 1 month, and then another video at the 2 month mark. I think your subscribers would really benefit from your take on this product!

    I have those also, remember it does actually say train with those for months... can't build muscle first time using them, in fact the opposite because of muscle fatigue but those muscles will build.. Phil Mickelson uses those and gained 9 mph..

    I have had my speed sticks since December. I use them every other day. I am up 3 MPH on my swing. sometimes 7 mph faster. I have a horrible back and neck injury and this has helped strengthen and condition my back and arms. I guess my legs also for all the extra swings. I would highly recommend this system if you are going to dedicate yourself to it. Like anything it does nothing for you if you only use it once in a while.

    I have those.. before using them, My second shots to the green where a wood or hybrids and a long iron.. 3 weeks in, I noticed I’m using mid irons 8, 7, and 6 for shots to the green. My SS for driver was 90 mph +/-. I don’t know exactly how fast I’m going now on the course, but I’m pleased of what I’m seeing early on. Also, I have tour tempo and I was at 24/8, but that also changed to 21/7 after starting with the system.

    So the goal, from what I saw in their phase 1 workout video, is to swing the heavy stick the same speed as the light club. My question is, when you are going for speed, what are you doing to crank it up? I've found out the hard way that swinging with more effort doesn't give you more speed. Are you stepping on your front foot harder, trying to rotate your hips harder, a combination of both? When they say to make your swings as fast as possible during the workout, how do you achieve that?

    • @tonygarner3942
      @tonygarner3942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Release as hard and fast as you can. It’s counter intuitive. You can do this with regular clubs. Just swing hard but use your body to try and stop the club a couple feet after impact or, try to come to a complete stop when your right arm is parallel to the ground.

    • @tonygarner3942
      @tonygarner3942 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s like cracking a whip or towel. All the speed is generated to the tip by accelerating and then stopping, releasing.

  • @mendhamgolf
    @mendhamgolf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've been an avid user of the Swing Speed System and it does work. However, you don't gain any speed with just one session. It takes about four to five months of dedicated training to see tangible and consistent results. Also, trying to see if you have picked up any clubhead speed right after going through a session isn't going to work. You'll be way to fatigued. To do a realistic results test would be to check yourself after training for four or so months. Then, go to the range, warm up, and then let it rip and see what your swing speed is. For your swing, a three to four MPH increase in speed would be very good results. I wouldn't expect much more than that. Good luck and I look forward to you mapping your progress along the way.

    • @dbo4506
      @dbo4506 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bro if it takes you 5 months of dedicated training it ain’t working or you’re doing it wrong. The first week or two is adaptation period by week 3/4 tangible results should already be there. 100%.

  • @jvelez1998
    @jvelez1998 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think the system works... I have used it for 5 months. I have maxed out at 138mph with the Green stick, 131 with the Blue, 125 with the red. Got up to 120- 124mph (max speed) with the driver. Started much lower with all the sticks and was at 100mph with the driver last summer... more than anything the system forces you to load and use your big muscles versus hands and arms only.... it takes time but it is well worth it. No joke...

      Tyto Rubio after getting a fitting done the answer is yes. Me being 6’1” I was fit for a stiff shaft like I thought I would be but in a light weighted shaft. The guy that fit me explained that him at 5’7” to gain the same exact speed as me he had to work harder for it which means he needs a heavier extra stiff shaft. Just putting lighter shafts in my irons gives me a smoother swing and no lose in distance. Hope this is helpful
