Thomas Congrats on his release. I don’t know how you keep from crying your eyes out over Rexie. I’m a administer first aid and after the Adrienne rush, be by myself and cry. You are all so STRONG. I already want an update on Rexie. He’s swallowing and that’s a miracle. Kobe’s saga went very smoothly. He’s so happy to be home! I adore the videos visiting the adults and juveniles. I love the babies, but troop life is fascinating ❤

A lot happened in this video and I watched it all with great interest. I very much hope that the very seriously injured young monkey can be healed and I am excited to see him again in the next episodes.

I remember after I had jaw surgery only being able to drink liquids for a month. It wasn’t fun. I hope Rexy recovered. 🙏🏻

Your newest patient (Rexy?) has got a difficult road ahead of him self, but with all your experiences with these types of injuries, I give him a very good chance of healing! I'm sending you love and money to help! ❤💴

That final shot of the food being prepared was a good one. It reminds people of just how much work and spending goes into taking care of the monkeys!
I hope Rexy (spelling?) is continuing to improve, too. 🤞
The video was great, even though the part about Rexy was very sad to see. Again though, it shows just how much work, love, and care you guys give to every single monkey at the Foundation!
    Thanks very much!!

Very well done Grand Rounds. Trauma is simply explained, course of treatment, rehab . This is indeed intensive care nursing, progressing to re entrance into the troops. Well thought out piece of work. Teaching material for the world. Thanks so much. Baie dankie

Once again we get to see the depth of your understanding of the Vervets, not only in knowing how to look after Rexy with the awful head injury, but also explaining how the group dynamics work at feeding time and being able to describe and explain that to us. Most people (including me) would see a number of monkeys coming and going to eat, but not be able to identify all the nuances of the hierarchical behaviour. It's fascinating and I'd love to understand how that structure comes about, apart from by infants taking on the position of the mother. I wonder how they all just know! 🤔
Great video. Get well soon Rexy!

You might explain "that great big needle " ( I heard "Oh that's so cruel" which alarms some of the untutored, is simply the means by which appropriate fluids are quickly and safely delivered to a space where absorption can happen, especially when time is of the essence and oral and IV routes are compromised, by injury or collapse.
