So who do you contact if they sell or refuse to remove your data? companies like whitepages, spokeo, etc.. You request and then they put you back on there 5 months later? CA doesn't have a complaint link like FTC..

I have an issue with a stalker and my private information is public even when I moved 4 months ago. Hippa is such a huge thing but privacy and protection of people are not. Who in the heck are making these laws!!!

What’s stopping companies from just moving their headquarters to another state and their servers too

why aren't all states included for the privacy law? I don't want my privacy invaded continuously or posted online so why not all States included? I can't use it on Transunion or any other site because it says its only if you live in Cali you can use it

You had better change from the default WiFi password...because if you don't that's a federal offense 😆

Weather.com’s new app insisted I turn on location services. Would not proceed without it. So I deleted Weather’s app; there’s better weather app choices that don’t force me into that. Weather wanted real time access to my iphone devices

Anyone else think this could actually be bad? If you opt out of collection/selling they just offer you the dumbed down version or charge you for opting out. Soon all companies will start charging for nondatacollection and will use price to incentivise your compliance into giving up your rights.

Companies should be using their data to better their own services, not other companies’ services. U should be able to request the data they collect from u and sell it urself. They shouldn’t be able to own the labor and creativity u put into their service. Paper companies don’t own what u draw on the paper they make. We aren’t employees.

I usually don't buy from high volume advertising companies because if they have enough money for millions of ads they don't need my money. Sharing is caring.

      2) those people have to stand in long lines to make the needed changes.
