    What talent and creativity you have, Patti. It's amazing what you do. Your videos are really interesting. You are of boundless generosity. In addition to sharing your achievements, you also give the list of materials required to make your beautiful projects. I've watched the majority of your videos and it's always a pleasure. I wanted to thank you for everything you do for us. A generosity such as yours is a gift for us, for me, who does not have this creativity and the talent to create projects. I wish you a pleasant day Patti and again see a BIG thank you........ P.S. Forgive me my English, I use a translator because I am a francophone from Quebec, Canada.

    Hi Patti, I have a friend that wants me to make a cake baker. What fabric did you use for the Chef hat? I can use girly fabric to make a Chef-ett. I make my own feet out of clay, and my friend love the feel I make. I make 2 kinds, one gnarly feet and the other cutesy feet with adorable round toes. I still could make flip flops. So cute. ❤️

    • @PattiJGood
      @PattiJGood  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bonnie. I used a bleached muslin. You can use any medium weight white fabric. I think that is great that you make your own feet. I am practicing right now. I hope to make cute ones some day. Have a Merry Christmas. Your friend will love her gift, that is sweet of you to make it for her.

    I purchased the feet mold for the gnomes and there are no instructions. I cannot figure out how to attach the feet. Itt is only the foot bottom. Can you give any ideas how to attach? Thank you. Joan Nye.

      I did not use the foot mold on this gnome. I used the actual feet. I had the link in the description amzn.to/3uAajy3. You can look at my hippie gnome if you are using the feet mold. Thanks, Patti

    You said you needed sharper pins. Use a bar of soap to hold your pins. The soap will make them easier to use.

    Ok I missed something somewhere. I have gone back and gone back several times and I can't find where I made my mistake. I sewed the pleats to the inside of the brim so of course when I pulled the cap through and turned the brim down the other side of the inside of the brim is showing. For the life of me it appears on the video that I am doing the same thing that you are doing. I am afraid to start over because I can't figure out where I made the mistake.

    • @PattiJGood
      @PattiJGood  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure that when you put the brim on the hat that the right sides are facing each other. So when you add the brim to the hat the unfinished side is facing out. I rewatched that part this morning. You may want to enlarge the screen on the video. Make sure you are sewing in the bottom edge of the brim. Let me know if you are still having trouble. I really want to help you. Thanks, Patti

      @123npw 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PattiJGood Patti Thank you so much for your reply. I went back like you recommended and enlarged the video and I also slowed the speed of the video down and voila I see where I made my mistake. I have to admit that the first one I made was so so cute so I am feeling confident now as I head into making my corrections on the second one. Thanks for this awesome tutorial.
