- It you want to make a cool hippie dude gnome with me, then stick around and I will show you how. This is a no sew gnome and the gnome pattern is free to use to make one. Patti I love your style of gnomes. I've made several so far. For this hippie gnome I made sandals out of faux leather and the rope you used for the headband and the bracelet.
