Your instructions worked well. I bought the expansion band for FITBIT Blaze from WISH (Chinese Duplicate) for $9.99 that is identical to the one you show. It comes with the two extra pins and tool to remove links. Had to tap the tool lightly with small hammer to remove pins. Thanks for your input.

when removing the links, do you have to remove a link from either side of the clasp to keep it even. Or did you just alter and remove from one side.

Just pop out any one link. You do not need to remove from both sides.

Did you Fitbit metal links strap come with an extra pin for the extension?

+Benjimikey Sorry about that, I was focused on just showing people how to actually remove the pin as I did not see a video for that anywhere and Fitbit had very minimal info on that. Trust me though, it looks and feels very good on my wrist! So much better than the rubber strap that is irritating to my skin.

Some of the pins are noticeably harder to get out. Try another pin. Also, just make sure you are pushing from the end that DOES NOT look like a flat head screw.

You know, It really makes me mad that the pins are so difficult to remove. My nail looks like I have been eatting hot Cheetos because I just stabbed my finger with the safety pen and now it is bleeding underneath.
