Fantastic video. I bought my 7300 used and suspected it was a bit off frequency because I found myself using RiT quite often to fine tune conversations. Through your method I discovered my Rx to be low by 23 Hz but fixed it with a new REF of 30.6%. Thank you for taking the time to help us!
I don't know where you are but WWV has multiple frequencies, you can find them on their website www.nist.gov/pml/time-and-frequency-division/time-distribution/radio-station-wwv CHU Canada has 3 frequencies that you can find here en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHU_(radio_station) There are many other sites depending where you are, search on Google and you will find some more in Europe.
please watch the video carefully, you can change the ref value here: th-cam.com/video/zECmslt-nvA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Uzeyxbs7PgoENqvK&t=582 the values in the video are NOT the one you will be using, add or subtract a couple % and retest until you find you are centered between CW/CW-R. Since you are at 9.999.9979, ADD a couple % and try again.

That is awesome ! Thank you for your kind comment and I am glad you found my video helpful ! Enjoy your tuned 7300 !!
23Hz is quite a lot on SSB, clearly audible, no wonder why you needed to use the RIT to hear everyone on frequency !
Excellent tutorial...very detailed and well explained!
thank you for your appreciation !
Any other freq to use? On 10 MHz I listen to music (on cw the signal changes)
