@@WastedTalent83 Bro, everyone has skill issues in this game, relax. If you don't want to masterize the game, just use the first rotation, is easy actually. Intro, basic attack, switch, echo, switch back, skill, heavy attack, skill, ulti, heavy attack, outro. If you want a more simple rotation, and if you don't care to fully buff you're dps with they're echo skill, then only use the parts of Yinlin: Intro, basic attack, skill, heavy, skill, ulti, heavy, outro.
@@a.z1184 it’s as simple as that😄. I see a lot of his negative comments on my videos. I just don’t pay attention to them. To give him some clarity, I don’t spend hours trying to record a video about a character I already know how to play. That only happens if I’m testing them out. He feels that way because he’s probably terrible at the game and it’s okay to admit that
9:25 One thing to note here is that you dodged and dodge countered, so that's a bit more concerto generated. Not sure if you've noticed while testing her, but her second Forte hit doesn't give you concerto energy until after the animation is almost done, so it doesn't save you a lot time, not even half a second. It's always better to let Yinlin fill concerto with the first hit of Chameleon Cipher and swap immediately. That's why I mentioned the dodge and dodge counter. One very important thing you forgot to mention is the Electromagnetic Blast. You quickly dismissed it as not being helpful, but it is very helpful. The damage is not important here, but the extra concerto energy/forte regenerated is. I know it's second nature since you always start with E and, because of that, Electromagnetic Blast procs anyways, but trust me when I tell you some rotations are only possible while accounting for EB. Many people sleep on her s2 because of that and their fixation for only looking at excel dmg percentages instead of utility or rotation haste, but the extra Forte for each EB procced opens up some really technical and sweaty rotations. Another cool thing you can do to have an even faster rotation in a situation where you need to inevitably dodge, is to use E first, BA1, HA, Dodge counter, E2, ult and Chameleon. The position of dodge counter in the last sentence may vary depending on what the enemy is attacking you with, obviously. So that's 4 EB procs: BA1, HA, dodge counter and ult. That makes it possible to omit the final basic attack after her Intro Skill if needed. Very good video as always, senpai. And yes, I concur with you: 95% of players are playing her wrong.
Great info! I had no idea about some of these mechanics, specifically about Execution mode after using Skill the first time. Getting faster Forte stacks will be a great help!
Interestingly, the whole BA strings attack with Yinlin was only 'popularized' after her banner by people who pair her with XY and Calcium afterward. Some of the players (especially where I used to lurked) who tried to play her as main and duo DPS already got used to something like this Intro -> swap cancel -> skill -> echo cancel -> heavy 2 times -> sit down (heavy forte) -> swap cancel -> lib -> outro I have now tried to use that good old rotation with Youhu to send Youhu's outro back to Yinlin right before lib and outro to next DPS, but my reflex and fingers aren't good enough yet. Oh, I mostly play XY/Rover + Yinlin + Youhu for this setup. I love seeing 20k+ per lightning strike.

I kid you not I keep wondering ever since her rerun began have I been playing her right all this time. Even tho I got her during her initial release. I use her as a dual DPS w Void Set in a XLY team and since she’s literally my fav character it’d be a sin if I hadn’t been using her optimal rotation. Turns out I wasn’t 💀. I was doing most things right but the heavy attack method is a huge improvement. This new rotation is exactly what I’ve been looking for. This was a great guide too and the slo mo step by step walk through was so easy to follow. I hope more people can see now how much more flexible Yinlin truly is than they had initially thought
Thanks for this informative rotation. I'm just doing the hyper carry rotation in the past and the dual DPS rotations seems manageable for me to learn and might try this for the tower reset
I thought of that but the reason I didn’t mention it is because using her forte after liberation helps with resonance energy acquisition but if you play her as a dps, then that will be recommended👍🏽
@@ThePhotonKn1ght I usually call that 'sit down' :D Quickswapping/outro away can also cancel that along with echo, but I personally don't like echo cancel as much. interesting, I already know her heavy attack gives plenty of Forte stacks, but for some reason I never thought of using it after casting first attack on her skill. Hopefully it will help me getting that extra 5 secs for three doritos in current left tower, using my just-for-lulz and poorly equipped Calculator-XY-Yinlin team 😂

I really was waiting for this video, I have Camellya with Sanhua and Verina, and wanted a second team. I have Cucaracha and Baizhi, and finally get Yinlin in her rerun. Time to complete the tower 😎
Yinlin's "Electromagnetic Blast" can still be triggered even after using her E2 "Execution Mode". Besides basic and heavy attacks, her dodge counter and liberation can also trigger "Electromagnetic Blast" from her skill. Both her E1 & E2 also generate quite a number of Forte stacks, so I like to use them twice in a hypercarry rotation. My typical rotation goes like this: [Yinlin E1 E2] > [Shorekeeper Basic & Skill, swap to Xiangli Yao before concerto is full] > [Xiangli Yao Heavy + Skill + Echo to build buffs] > [Shorekeeper Liberation] > [Yinlin Intro E1 E2, Forte Heavy, Liberation, Heron Echo] > [Xiangli Yao Intro + Burst rotation] > [Shorekeeper Intro] > repeat This way I can skip doing any of Yinlin's basic attacks during her rotation, which are kind of slow in building up her concerto. My only problem with this rotation is that Yinlin is very vulnerable when using her Forte Heavy, so I usually use her liberation right after that to prevent getting hit. Also kind of awkward to use with Jinhsi because her coordinated attacks only comes near the end of her rotation, so it gives little Forte stacks for Jinhsi.
Yeah there is. for people trying to do more dmg and improve their combat mechanics, people who appreciate the intricate battle tech that wuwa devs have included in the game.

That skill into heavy into skill part 2 ayyy, I remember learning that for her rotation with calcharo when both were using thunder set. Nothing sticked but that lol so I still use that for xy. I eventually moved to moonlit set, had to remember not to use echo before that trio move. Kinda suck that her on moonlit I can't swap to xy while she's sitting down, have to finish the animation then swap cancel while heron
"I don’t like the calculator pro max at all,” I say, then I suddenly tripped and fell to the ground, as multiple pictures of Xiangli Yao fall out of my bag. “Wait!” I frantically cried out. “These aren’t mine!”
You can dash cancel her skill if you really want to shorten her rotation time, since the skill doesn't need to hit enemy to generate forte stack and concerto energy, but not hitting enemy generated less liberation energy, well, there's pro n con
there are a few things that (in my opinion) are missing from your "optimized hypercarry rotation". First is yinlins echo skill, which is not mentioned in your graph, so it's hard to tell where you're supposed to use it, especially since there are many rotation guides out there that like to use the echo before the main skill rotation, especially for shorekeeper, to make sure SK has optimal ult up time. i.e. build concerto for all characters till it's close to full, yinlin echo, XLY echo, SK ult, skill, echo, intro yinlin, do whatever you need to fill the rest of the bar, intro XLY, ult, repeat. Second is the cancelling her long animations when possible, like her second skill, heavy attack, and forte heavy, which are all cancellable. if you let the animation fully play through, it leaves her vulnerable. Third, which is an extension of the second point, is her own rotation to build concerto energy. you're suggesting using skill 1, skill 2, ult, then heavy forte, which leaves her extremely vulnerable to attacks during skill 2 and heavy forte with nothing to cancel the animation. the most optimal rotation is skill 1 (dodge to animation cancel), forte heavy, ult (which cancels the heavy forte animation, which is pretty damn long), skill 2, then swap to XLY / main dps. yinlin builds concerto / forte gauge pretty quickly. two regular heavy attacks, skill 1, 2, heavy forte, and ult, which is a pretty standard rotation, fills it up completely. Of course, all this being said, you're definitely free to play Yinlin how you see fit and whatever is comfortable to you. Everything i said is borderline impossible for a mobile player, but definitely doable on pc/controller. Yinlin best girl
The smoothest Yinlin rotation I've been using: Yinlin skill x2 > Yao skill > Verina B.atk x2 (Fort stack) + ult + skill> Yinlin Echo > Yao skill Echo > Verina Echo J.atk x2 > Yinlin intro + skill + hold heavy + ult + skill > Yao intro + skill + heavy cancel (thunder set) + ult + 3 Hyper cube > Yinlin intro loop (for SK u can modify). Every end animation frame of Yinlin get cancelled (2nd skill, hold heavy fort, echo) Yao get full buff (even bell) for nuke & field time. I've seen about 3 content creator using it so far. More complex exist to save 2-3 seconds but my brain couldn't handle it.
@@itssenpai626 keep in mind this rotation suck ball vs ToA phase that start with Mobs, only good vs boss. There is a rotation on YT start with Yao Echo Ult hyper cube quickswap to fix this problem
You forgot to mention that her Liberation applies sinner's marks which can be used as opener but its only advisable at s5 or s6. Good rotation for f2p though 👍
You can cancel the resonance skill animation to save the time and the forte also will fill! Edited: so when we gonna use! Yinlin's! Echo!? You forgot to add that 8:37
S1 :( Her weapon took too long to come home. Still debating on whether to go for more of her sequences or for Xiangli Yao's sequences(Currently on S2. I love this nerd's game play).
At first it looks heresy because the outro buffs yinlin buff to xly is discarded, but lately i was doing this too, idk why but it hits better than the previous rotation. 😂
07:09 i usually use intro>skill>heavy>skill>dodge cancel>heavy>ulti cancel>echo>swap after that my kukaraca got one shot from crownless and reset the tower 😂
Yes i forgot to mention that. The high crit damage can help with yinlin’s damage output. She also gets more crit rate from her skill tree and passives so you can’t go wrong with that weapon
Omg that heavy attack after skill is game changer for me, thanks so much. But now i have another issue, my er is not high enough to have her liberation ready when the forte gauge is full. 😫
i often use Yinlin for her coordinated attacks with jinhsi Why isnt jinhsi paired with yinlin and not zhezhi? this might be weird but im just having fun with maindps zhezhi (+sanhua and sk) and before you say anything with that. i still easly 30/30 the tower using this setup. i even got all the stars in the overdrive zone with it
i am too lazy to follow that swap swap rotation so i will intro swap like usual but yinlin quick forte refill will help i was still doing that 3 attacks and heavy attack then forte..
Using ult before forte 💀 Also the sinner's mark is applied as soon as purple chains appear, and there's a window before that you can and WILL get interrupted, losing all stacks and NOT applying the mark Also no point in tanking after either since its interrupted by ult anyway

Wait, is THAT how people play her?! I know it's the rota shown in her tutorial, but it's obviously inefficient. Skill and Heavy Attacks give the most Forte, so that's what I've been doing since the start. I didn't know doing the Heavy between Skill casts gives more Forte bar, though I always use her Ultimate *after* casting her Forte, since then it deals much more damage, if I remember correctly. At least, it always seemed that way.
@@itssenpai626 TBH, I can totally see people thinking this is the correct rota. I'm pretty sure Kuro added the tutorials for every character in some later patch than 1.0, which is around when I got Yinlin. Like, 3 or so weeks into the game, so I learned to use Heavy Attacks by playing the game, because that was the only way to learn to play a character. But a lot of people probably learned from the in-game tutorial, or some scuffed rota on YT and just don't know any better.
Which echo do you think is better for her- Tempest Mephis or Thundering Mephis? I like the Liberation Dmg from Thundering Mephis but it activates from the last hit of animation and the animation is pretty long meanwhile the HA Dmg from Tempest is a little less useful but easier to activate...
In 2.0 there are gonna be nightmare edition from older echoes, it makes their animation to be summon type instead of transformation type. The buff also slightly more versatile iirc, so yeah i think you better start grinding after 2.0
@@ngasalaja2839 yeah I remember them mentioning the nightmare versions in the stream... I guess it could be something to look out for too. Let's hope for the best 🤞
I feel like a troglodyte. I just mash buttons and wonder why I'm not doing any damage. It's actually absurd the amount of effort you need to put in for some characters if not all(again I wouldn't know). I wonder how many players can actually execute this type of playstyle... But thank you for explaining Yinlin's gameplay.
@@drakula839 I played Rover+Yinlin+Youhu team for tower. It is definitely doable, but requires good quickswap practices to nail it down. Youhu takes quite a bit of time to get concerto on her own and would heavily benefits if you quickswap her properly. Above team with XY instead of rover is a lot smoother.
@@drakula839 Oh, one other thing. Pure Glacio team of Glacio DPS (Carlotta soon), Zhezhi, and Youhu is also more than viable. Might do lesa damage than pure Carlotta hypercarry setup, but if you need the meta healer elsewhere, this team is more than fine on its own. Thing with Yinlin as main DPS is that you lose quite significant amount of her attack increased for Judgement strike when she is on field, so you will be much more rewarded to have another DPS to let her lightning latch on. Similar thing goes for Zhezhi. Don't worry. Youhu's outro is not disappearing upon quickswap/outro switch. Feel free to swap away from coordinated attackers after receiving said buff.
I use the void thunder echo set on Yinlin because it does more damage like that. I don't like the idea of "because is a sub dps, her role is not doing damage" . "I don’t like the calculator pro max at all,” I say, then I suddenly tripped and fell to the ground, as multiple pictures of Xiangli Yao fall out of my bag. “Wait!” I frantically cried out. “These aren’t mine!”
You can dash cancel her skill if you really want to shorten her rotation time, since the skill doesn't need to hit enemy to generate forte stack and concerto energy,
but not hitting enemy generated less liberation energy, well, there's pro n con
PGR Music in the background is fire asf🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🐐
there are a few things that (in my opinion) are missing from your "optimized hypercarry rotation".
I'm glad I found this video, hoping I can get high score play simuclara
I’ll make a video on that event later but let me know if you encounter any issues with it
The smoothest Yinlin rotation I've been using:
Yinlin skill x2 > Yao skill > Verina B.atk x2 (Fort stack) + ult + skill> Yinlin Echo > Yao skill Echo > Verina Echo J.atk x2 > Yinlin intro + skill + hold heavy + ult + skill > Yao intro + skill + heavy cancel (thunder set) + ult + 3 Hyper cube > Yinlin intro loop (for SK u can modify).
That’s insane even for me😄. But I’ll try it anyway. There are more complex rotations I came up with but the one’s in the video are fairly simple
Yinlin's! Echo!? You forgot to add that 8:37
@@Gtwwalk yeah that was a mistake on my part. Thanks for pointing it out
S1 :( Her weapon took too long to come home. Still debating on whether to go for more of her sequences or for Xiangli Yao's sequences(Currently on S2. I love this nerd's game play).
You cant blame me for playing yinlin wrong. What else can I do when playing as yinlin with one hand?
Doesn't that waste her buff on xiangli yao???
I play Yinlin without heavy atk normally - but this does in fact work... More or less the same tho
At first it looks heresy because the outro buffs yinlin buff to xly is discarded, but lately i was doing this too, idk why but it hits better than the previous rotation. 😂
07:09 i usually use intro>skill>heavy>skill>dodge cancel>heavy>ulti cancel>echo>swap
after that my kukaraca got one shot from crownless and reset the tower 😂
😄
Great info
Can you do an updated guide for sephiroth now that you finally have yinlin to complete your jianxin yinlin calculator team?
Sure😄. He’s one of my favourite characters so I’ll do it but it will take a while
Instruction Unclear
Im pulling standard banner
This is too complicated for me. I need smth like: Random bullshit go!
Im studying from this vid so hard as if I have Yinlin.
I TAKE IT BACK. I JUST GOT HER 😭
Is Zhezhi signature weapon a better pick than the standard 5 star weapon cosmic ripples for yinlin?
Yes i forgot to mention that. The high crit damage can help with yinlin’s damage output. She also gets more crit rate from her skill tree and passives so you can’t go wrong with that weapon
@ ok so I should use that weapon over cosmic ripples cause I have them both maxed out
@@itssenpai626 also when running impermanence Herron is it best to have crit dmg or crit rate as the main stat when using zhezhis weapon on yinlin
@@Neezy_J if you’re using zhezhi’s weapon, go for crit rate.
Omg that heavy attack after skill is game changer for me, thanks so much. But now i have another issue, my er is not high enough to have her liberation ready when the forte gauge is full. 😫
My fellow lingyang main
bro where's the violin in beginning video?
I’ll add it in future videos😄. Glad you like it
But dont you lose the outro buff on xiangli yao when you do the swap out? Is it worth it?
Ok here we go!!
i often use Yinlin for her coordinated attacks with jinhsi
Why isnt jinhsi paired with yinlin and not zhezhi? this might be weird but im just having fun with maindps zhezhi (+sanhua and sk)
and before you say anything with that. i still easly 30/30 the tower using this setup. i even got all the stars in the overdrive zone with it
Zhezhi provides Jinshi with resonance skill damage. That’s why she’s much preferred compared to yinlin
Same
What controller do you used for android????
I play on pc with xbox one controller
Don't farm Echo right now. Wait for 2.0 for the 5 new Sonata Effects. But damm, the advanced mechanics are new to me @@
i am too lazy to follow that swap swap rotation so i will intro swap like usual but yinlin quick forte refill will help i was still doing that 3 attacks and heavy attack then forte..
But I never has chance to play Yinlin cuz I never got her
kukaracha had me dying
😄
😄
Is it normal for yinlin to deal low damage? Compared to sanhua?
I play her using the default rotation, and i can clear toa every bi-weekly np
Using ult before forte 💀
Also the sinner's mark is applied as soon as purple chains appear, and there's a window before that you can and WILL get interrupted, losing all stacks and NOT applying the mark
Also no point in tanking after either since its interrupted by ult anyway
Why does calcharo kept getting new names😢
It’s just a meme😄
Senpai can u please make a video on how to get kore Technical points in thr new Tactical stimulation event? Cuz i have seen many players get hit by bosses but still get high points how??? Can u please help? I try to dodge parry every move but still lol.
Sure. I’ll start working on that very soon
@itssenpai626 😅now they made an Update...they reduced the points 🎉hehe.
@@luvboi I spent about 2 hours on a script for that video🤣 and now it’s ruined
@@itssenpai626 OMG 💔😭but i guess u can still upload that no?....
Eitherway Thank you sooo much for helping Senpai no wonder why we always count on u 🫵🏻💪🏻.
How can you get a decent echo? I literally farm only electro echo if I have energy to spare. 0 crit/crit piece
Try to get elemental damage bonus from the illusive realm. You can get the rest of the main stats from doing your dailies and tacet fields
@@mikoajbaszczyszyn4568 I saw the default rotation in a recent TH-cam guide. I won’t mention the name of the channel😄
@mikoajbaszczyszyn4568 pfft I've been playing yinlin with the default rotation and I still clear toa every bi weekly
I do heavy forte and lib at the same time
Hi senpai, I hope you can do a Changli tower run. I wanna know how to build her with a good team properly since I main dps her.
I have an s3 yinlin, is it okay if I play like in this video or does it have a different rotation?
Which echo do you think is better for her- Tempest Mephis or Thundering Mephis?
I like the Liberation Dmg from Thundering Mephis but it activates from the last hit of animation and the animation is pretty long meanwhile the HA Dmg from Tempest is a little less useful but easier to activate...
Thundering memphis takes so long to activate the buffs. I always use tempest Memphis
@@itssenpai626 I use tempest too but that liberation dmg bonus is too tempting 😅 maybe with future updates we'll get a better 4 cost for Yinlin...
Hey I think that they are buffing how these echoes work by using quick cancel , I don't know if it can be still given respective buff or not..
Which echo set is better for her with Changli
depends on which one will be the main dps, the sub dps one will go with Moonlit Clouds
Any Sub dps always moonlit for me
I feel like a troglodyte. I just mash buttons and wonder why I'm not doing any damage. It's actually absurd the amount of effort you need to put in for some characters if not all(again I wouldn't know). I wonder how many players can actually execute this type of playstyle... But thank you for explaining Yinlin's gameplay.
thanks
Echo cast when? Hypercarry
@@anikchowdhury9596 sorry. Forgot to mention that. Use echo after forte skill and then intro with dps
Is it valuable to play Yinlin as main dps with Youhu?
It’s viable if you want to play her that way for fun but at S0 I don’t recommend it when you’re up against the Tower of adversity.
@itssenpai626 i don't even have Yinlin, i was just wondering. I mean, there has to be some usage for Youhu's outro skill
Feel free to swap away from coordinated attackers after receiving said buff.
still find she do more damage with havoc rover
gonna be a long day
i doubt i could pull that off sadly
Try to practice more😄. You’ll get the hang of it
@itssenpai626 its hard to remember cause I love playing different party 🗿
Show Yao build, thay liberation is crazy high
Sorry, I can't see a video with the healer at the first place😂. Dps - - >subdps - - >Healer
its still wrong, by the time I go back to yinlin, the energy is not enough for liberation
Wuwa is available in xbox??
only ps5, mobile and pc
I use the void thunder echo set on Yinlin because it does more damage like that. I don't like the idea of "because is a sub dps, her role is not doing damage" . Respectfully saying, f*ck your Moonlight Clouds, putting that thing on every single sub dps is a waste. Just build your sub dps and you'll be surprised
