Here's a quick look at my humble Game Cube collection. I held onto these games for one reason or another. I do love Game Cube but never had the largest collection ever. I'm glad I held onto these, though.

I said a remake of Eternal Darkness Sanity Requiem should be made. One because we need updated features. Maybe the system can scan your setup so it can mess with you in the best possible ways. Also a graphics update for the roaches and stuff like that.
I love how John has such a down to earth video game collection. I actually can relate to it (by that I mean I have about that many games).
Very relatable collection. Nice to see the game channels show mode modest game collections than bookshelves of games that are just there to collect dust and show off. I once wanted one of those massive collections but who would I be impressing? Lol
@@joshjohnson6891 I’ve always had the rule that I need to play/beat two games before buying a new game. It’s resulted in me slowing down my buying significantly. I have like 50 Xbox 360 games. For the Xbox One, it’s more like 15.
And I agree, it’s not gonna impress anyone. None of my friends play video games anymore (unless it’s with their kids) and I’ve yet to bring over a girl who’s like “ohhhhh, you have SO many video games. Wanna bang?”
When I bought my GameCube from ToysRUs, it was a bundle. Black GameCube, a wavebird, a big memory card, and both Super Monkey Ball games.
It was probably one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Having a handful of games for all the consoles I love still leaves with too many to choose from
I KNOW I have Mario Party 4-6 as well... somewhere. I was on a Mario Party kick about a year ago so I have all my Mario Party games in some random box I can't find in my closet. And I have Day of Reckoning 1, 2 and Wrestlemania but those are in a different box of wrestling games haha)
Mario Party 7 is the best one because random bonus stars.
Six is my favorite on the GameCube. Day and night changes, some of the best mini games, E GADDS GARAGE. Mech Assault 😁
The GameCube has some great games. I used to own some of the rare games on it but I had to sale em for money. So I installed a GCLoader in my GameCube just to play those old games again without spending hundreds of dollars trying to get those games again.
My son was telling me that he thought the GameCube was better than the Playstation 2, but I'm not sure🤔
@@Roger-fs5yo I personally loved the PS2 a little more cause of the catalog of games it has. Graphics wise, the GC has some impressive games that looked great at the time.

The one system I never played, yet at 35 I really want to as the games seem epic. I wish I knew wii was backwards compatible for game cube. I didn't know this until years later! I can't wait to buy and play this console

My GameCube collection isn't nearly as big as some of my others (mostly due to how expensive some games are these days), but I have a pretty good showing as far as some of the main heavy hitters go. What I need is an actual GameCube, but at the moment I run discs through Nintendon't on my Wii due to the disc reader having issues without mod support.
Eternal Darkness was developed by Sillicon Knights, the same developer of Twin Snakes.
Funny about twilight princess because it is my all time favorite game BECAUSE of the motion controls. Got the hd release for wii u and just felt like something was missing when only using the just the buttons.
Twilight Princess was originally a Gamecube game.

Gamecube is the best console for me, a time when devs made games with fun in mind and the graphics were great for the time. Bloody Roar, F-Zero GX, SSX Tricky, Mario Kart Double Dash, Soul Calibur 2, Viewtiful Joe 1&2, Monkey Ball 2, Smash Bros Melee, Timesplitters 2, Mario Sunshine, so many great games.

Looks like we have a similar taste in games. I started selling off some of my GCN collection about two years ago, but I have all the games you do with the exception of Ribbit King and Def Jam on the actual system (both I picked up years later as loose discs on the PS2). I was on of those people who ordered the GCN version of Twilight Princess back when it came out after hearing that the Wii version was the "mirrored" version and the GCN version was the "real" game.
I always leave old stickers on, I love the look of an old Blockbuster sticker.
Metroid Prime, chef's kiss. I also loved the Star Wars Rogue games and F-Zero was great as well.

I love Gameboy Advance games as well. I was gifted the gameboy player for the GameCube from a friend for free. I couldn’t believe he did that for me.

Still have some of my game cube games all from back then. I have the Zelda collection that came with the system, I also have starfox adventure too, have TMNT battle Nexus, Capcom vs SNK 2, Sonic adventure 2 battle, crash nitro kart, and that's all i remember I have, I got look to see if I have other ones.

I regret getting rid of mine, but I was all in on my Xbox360 and hadn't touched it in years, so I gave it to a friend. I'm glad it at least got a good home.
I also have a small Gamecube collection but I have a lot of the heavy weights. Fun console
I do own Starfox Adventure and Assault cib. Also I still have Mario Golf, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (missing the manual) , Time Splitters Future Perfect, RE0, RE4, 007 Agent Under Fire, Day of Reckoning 1 and 2 and Die Hard and I still have a Gameboy Player without the disc, but I do use a mod in order to use the GB Player without the disc.

I still have my original GameCube games so yeah I absolutely love the system growing up. Out of all of these games Resident Evil 4 is still one my favorite games on the system.

Love GameCube. Prob my fav console. Still have my platinum silver console and controller from my childhood. Always trying to expand my collection but it is a pretty penny to collect for. Trying to get a copy of simpsons hit and run for less than $80 is impossible, my fav game of all time. I have the case but lost the disc as a child
Hit and Run is a great game. Fortunately, I have a cib copy of it on the PS2. Hopefully, in the near future you can find a copy that is cheap

Eternal Darkness was developed by Silicon Knights and published by Nintendo. Silicon Knights went on to develop the Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes remake for the GCN... Years later they were developing the game Too Human for the xbox 360, and the studio basically fell apart trying to develop the game, and blamed it on Epic Games providing unsufficient support on the Unreal 3 engine for all their games in production. Not only did Epic win the lawsuit but countersued for damages and leaking trade secrets, causing Silicon Knights to have to scrap all of their games being built on Unreal 3 as well as recall all copies of their games built on the Unreal 3 engine.
I loved Billy Hatcher. But he played for the Cincinnati Reds not the game cube

Man, the GameCube rocked. Great system. Resident Evil 4 was absolutely epic.
Never had Metroid Prime on the GC. Much later on I played the Wii version on PC (Thank you, Dolphin) and that was a lot of fun. Tried out its sequel. It's ok. Could be more fun in remastered form.
I didn't know Monkey Ball had a Game Boy port, than again I had a NES, Genesis and Play Station that was it and still it
it was such an underrated console

Billy Hatcher, the best game from Sonic Team that's not Sonic. 🤩 People usually don't have that many Gamecube games because it didn't have that many exclusives, but they're all very good and innovative, for instance Chibi-Robo, Odama, Killer7...

I would love a remake or remaster of eternal darkness. I heard there was some movement on years ago it but there was a hold up with the license or something like that. Fingers crossed it happens one day.
I love the Game Cube. Have you experienced any disc rot yet? Seemingly Game Cube Discs are very susceptible to disc rot.

Just like you my friend I don't have a big gamecube collection either I only have well 3 games Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 Echoes and Luigi's mansion which I'm waiting for that game arrives and yeah getting gamecube games is not easy at all and they're very expensive these days.
Gamecube had some good shoot em ups even though i never owned any i was more into mario kart double dash but now im a full blown shoot em up junkie need to go to cartridges galore to see if they have any gamecubes

I traded 2 GameCube games recently. Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon Magical Melody. Got more money than I was expecting so, I traded 3 games for 4. So much for downsizing.
I have Def Jam Fight For NY on Xbox. No Mercy is the best wrestling game ever.
With the GameBoy Player, that's how I do GB GBC and GBA as I own none of those handheld systems, but have a small collection of games for each.

When I got ribbit king I saw it for 14.99 on PS2 but it was 19.99 for cube and I was mad about $5 lol. after seeing what it costs now I'm not so mad

Growing up the most hours I put into a game was definitely smash bros melee… As a matter of fact it’s the only game I kept. And as soon as I sold my GameCube I regretted it. At the time I didn’t play and I knew I could use the Wii… not the same lol

I loved my Gamecube, I hate that I sold mine, I did it because the Wii was able to play the games. but I don't know if it's just me but the games looked better on the Gamecube than they did on the Wii. am I wrong? I need to get a Gamecube again
