I know Mitsuki and Masaru aren’t transphobic, this is just an AU, idk, maybe Katsuki didn’t tell them?
I just get sick of people thinking that I either hate his parents (Mostly Mitsuki) or just think that they are canonically abusive/homophobic but I really don’t think that/hate them. They’re just not my favorite anime parents and the one scene that they were in didn’t sit right with me. A lot of people have similar headcanons so I know it wasn’t just me. Katsuki's canon relationship with his parents, is way too much like mine, except for both my parents are a mixture of masaru and mitsuki. I get in trouble for the smallest things, and I have a really hard time with my attitude. but y'know what my parents favorite line is? ... "I don't want you to not try to do it, I want you to try NOT to do it." meaning, instead of doing or saying something accidentally, i should spend my life trying NOT to do any of those things. They want me to go about my life trying to not say something with a disrespectful tone, even if I don't mean to, and I say I'm sorry. Meaning, don't get bad grades in school while trying to get good grades, just try not to get bad grades. It's so hard for a 13 year old with depression, and anxiety to "try not" to do anything bad on accident, instead of trying to do something good instead of focusing on the bad. In simpler words- Don't try to be good, try not to be bad instead.
