I bought the Ferm version of this in 2012. Works ok but the saw blade is not at a 90 degree angle to the plate. So none of my cuts are square unless I put a flat piece f metal underneath my project to correct the cut to saw a straight cut.
Hi, thanks for the review, very useful. Early on in the vid you briefly showed how to adjust it to get an angled cut, but didn't show what mechanism there is to set it up for the angle you want. Is there some sort of guage on there or does it only do 45 degree cuts?
Thanks for a detailed and patient video explaining all the aspects. I have bought one and can't wait to get on with my projects as a beginner :) Keep doing such reviews. This is very helpful.
Thanks for the comment, it's a great multiple functional saw. I wish I got something like this year's ago it would have been a great help. No issues so far.
This is from their website... Max. Cross Cut (0° x 0°):115mm x 55mm Max. Bevel Cut (0° x 45°):115mm x 25mmMax. Mitre Cut (45° x 0°):65mm x 55mm Max. Compound Cut (45° x 45°):40mm x 25mmMild Steel Plate (Max. Thickness):3mm Mild Steel Box Section (Max. Wall Thickness):3mm Max. Depth of Cut (Table Mode):32mm
I think this was probably a helpful video but once I started counting how many times you said “actual” and “actually” I couldn’t really focus on anything you said ... what is an “actual fence”, “actual adjustments” an actual angle” or an “actual blade”? . Sorry if I come off as a bit rude but its REALLY distracting. The second part of the video is WAY better with virtually no redundant actuallys Dude - nice video but consider recording your voice over separately so you can focus a bit more on what you are saying ... hope this helps as constructive criticism ...
every time you touch it it seems to flex and move significantly :(. im not even sure why the low end of the tool market exists, it seems none of them do the jobs they claim to!

I liked and subscribed
Thanks much appreciated!
I didn't realise that it couldn't do beveled cuts with the table saw. Thanks for pointing that out
Thanks for a good review. As a beginner I am looking for a mitre saw but also want to be able to rip timber down. This saw looks ideal. Thanks
Thanks for the comment much appreciated. It's a really good multipurpose saw you won't be disappointed.

How long can the wood be when using the table saw. For example could this rip a floorboard?
I don't think there is a restriction, just ensure it is supported enough at both the front and back so it's easier to push the wood through.

Can you put a normal blade in or do you have to have the multi cut blade
Thanks for this - I’m thinking of getting one of these. Can you adjust the depth of the table saw please?
Yes you can adjust.
Looks rather flimsy and wobbly - so accuracy can't be too good! Maybe just good enough for occasional use around the house.
Hello my on/off switch not working if saw is in table mode... Its brand new.. Do you need to do something to get this switch working.? Thx

Will the table saw cut a 4 foot square sheet of ply in half? (edited, left out the number 4)
Yes
@@GeekStreet Sorry, I meant to say 4ft X 4ft square. Thanks for the quick response.
Yes, but better to use this th-cam.com/video/EABJmJ0JVwQ/w-d-xo.html
Great and informative review 👍 how are you finding it now with more use?

Yo quisiera una
Cuanto vale y dónde la consigo
What thickness of timber will the table saw cut?
This is from their website...
Max. Cross Cut (0° x 0°):115mm x 55mm
Max. Bevel Cut (0° x 45°):115mm x 25mmMax. Mitre Cut (45° x 0°):65mm x 55mm
Max. Compound Cut (45° x 45°):40mm x 25mmMild Steel Plate
(Max. Thickness):3mm
Mild Steel Box Section
(Max. Wall Thickness):3mm
Max. Depth of Cut (Table Mode):32mm
I don't think that was the question. The Evo web site quotes 32 mm as max thickness in table mode, max width using fence not specified.
Hi
Hey bro!

No worries, good criticism. That was in the early days. Newer videos improved.
@@GeekStreet Cool - glad you took in the manner it was intended .. keep it up :)

Say "actual" ONE. MORE. TIME.
