We have had a great time building this with Chris and McIntosh over the last year - and we're not done! We wanted to share the story of taking this from an idea, to a reality, and showing what it really takes to put together something of this scale. We couldn't be happier that Chris is enjoying not only the system, but all of the other touches we've helped put into his home (We really hope to go back and do some deep dives into the gun room and the other features of the home). If you want some more insights on all of the nitty-gritty tech specs watch this short playlist where we dive into it: th-cam.com/play/PLXOlktLHYl7NjF4czOi8JhCWrCEtvt1Fa.html
Very happy for you. I'm 60 and I also love music. I have to have music playing all the time. Fingers crossed that Bose keeps McIntosh an amazing company.
The system looks amazing, and I'm guessing it also sounds amazing. Just an observation from my perspective: It looks like the room could benefit from some sound treatment.
In 2023 i went to a Hi-Fi show in Sydney AU and was privileged to listen to a $200,00 AU McIntosh stereo system. The first time I ever heard a record playing with NO crackle or hiss! My surround sound cd I brought with me was played on it and sounded AWESOME!!!! You are a lucky man. God bless you and your family.
Beautiful system! Our McIntosh / Bob Carver system accomplishes 5 goals. 1. Powerful; 2. Easy to operate; 3. Accurate; 4. Technology thru the ages (phono, cassette, reel to reel, CD, DVD audio, SACD, BluRay audio, streaming Hi resolution, Spatial Audio, home theater, and finally 6 gaming systems including a Vive virtual reality computer) 5. Aesthetically pleasing which holds its value. Disregard the haters out there. Our fam cannot be happier. Enjoy the music my friend…powerfully, accurately,….and loudly 😁😎🎶🎶🔊🔊🔊
No. When I sold my high end audio store, which had been Levinson dealer of the year back when it meant something, plus did a lot of Classe and Audio Research, I was sent to McIntosh school. What a nightmare. Among many other things we were told they don't listen to products during the design process, measurement only, and shown how to do rigged demos. Their offerings were bettered by less expensive pieces from Audio Research (Harmon had destroyed Levinson by then). Our sales trainer, once the biggest Mac dealer in the country, bragged that the only sound he cared about was the cash register. I think it's hysterical that Bose recently acquired them. In fairness their construction quality is very good and they do more than most in house.
@@alexkane84 Don't tell me what to do. They're the worst company I've ever dealt with in this industry. I spent 3 days in hell with them. I seriously doubt that you have anything besides walking through shows in terms of experience and that's all but meaningless. I've taken their stuff home and compared it against 3 different fine lines. Mac came in last. I assume you either own it or are a dealer. When Levinson crashed there was great speculation who would take their place. No one that Iknow of guessed it would be a line that had totally fallen behind from their glory days. Bye.

@Creative-Audio ... Amazing shots to choose from too. Someone there has a hod grasp of videography / production. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more.
WOW I'm absolutely blown away almost speechless what a dream come true! The McIntosh Equipment well what can I say just Unbelievable Beautiful Products!! Enjoy every second of it you've earned it!!!❤
What a incredible journey for excellent sound. Kudos to a great job of customer service and telling a great audio story! I think these are some of the 1st PS2K Powered Subwoofers
We didn't want to make a claim we weren't sure of - but we do believe this was the first pair of PS2Ks in a home at the time of installation. (Pair is the important factor here) (Stay tuned for even more additions that we hope are a first as well in the upcoming weeks!)
Wow I would love to hear those subs. Thing is for 50k it probably won’t outperform a 5k dual 18’ jtr captivator 4000. Id rather have 10 captivators for 50k than one of macs subs. Still amazing I love those. Wow with those meters on the bottom of those subs it makes them look so cool. And the woofers are so shiny wow Great system man
My dad's system was all McIntosh tube components. Sadly, they had to be sold, but if I ever end up in the position where I can, I'd love to do something like this.
@@jmp622it’s a free world and free to spend money as we wish. Your preference would not be someone else preference and for the record 2k best buy system is crap and does not even touch a 20k Mac setup let alone 200k

Seeing the thumbnail "$500,000 Audio System" which yea is crazy. But in the world of uber high fi, $500k is nothing lol. Not that my broke ass could afford anything remotely close but still crazy that $500k is a drop in the bucket with what is available when there are several just speakers alone in the million mark as well as other audio components individually costing several hundreds of thousands each. Regardless, this is a beautiful and stunning setup I could only dream of and I hope you know how fortunate you are to be able to experience something like this when there is so many of us that can only dream.
I am 1,000% sure that if you do a blind test in the system for 500,000 and for 5,000 people simply won’t be able to tell the difference, and marketing is also not bad, selling audio equipment for the price of a Boeing wing 😁
@@Riga_Style I agree, 99% of those people couldn't tell a difference.
