- 140 world-class presets have arrived in ROLI Studio Player! The Equator2 Fundamentals soundpack brings 70 MPE and 70 standard MIDI sounds from the critically-acclaimed Equator2 synth into the ROLI Studio environment.
You'll find sounds to bring any production to life - from sampled-acoustics including the Baby Grand, Classical Violin & Double Bass, to expressive electronic bangers like Grime Sub Bass.
Just update ROLI Studio Player via ROLI Connect to access the new sounds. Note the soundpack is a separate large download in ROLI Connect.
If you own Equator2 already this update allows you to see and use all your sounds in ROLI Studio.

Thank you for these awesome additions to Equator 2. They sound amazing!
I really wish you would standardise ROLI Connect though and make it a standard application, instead of being tethered to the taskbar notification area in Windows. The Equator2 Fundamentals sound pack is a good example of why this is important as, if ROLI Connect was a standard Windows application, we could keep it open to see the 2.56 GB download progress while using other programs. It would also be possible to show download progress in the taskbar button if the user wanted to minimise the application. As it is, we don't have either option.

Yessir! The DNA connectors on the side allow for connection of all ROLI blocks hardware to the Lumi Keys
Looks great, thanks for the update! But I updated all apps and didn't find any sounds from Equator2 in Roli Studio Player. What have I done wrong? I don't have Equator2 btw
I've got the same issue. It is not showing in sound packs or inside the app itself. Dunno why.

I updated my Studio Player (1.3.1), but I see no new sounds anywhere..?

@@WeAreROLI already done 😭but it does not appear! I have already disconnected then reconnected to my account, reinstall Roli studio and Roli connect but still nothing. I do not understand, it's quite frustrating.

Check now! They just appeared this afternoon for me after signing in and out. Maybe it's different rollout for certain devices/OS, I'm not sure at all.

I am completely confused...I have a Seaboard Rise 49 I purchased last year, I dunno what software I am able to upgrade, let alone what I should upgrade. It looks like I have Equator version 1.13, Strobe 2.6.1.7, and listed under demos, Cypher 2.6.1.7. Then I have Roli Dashboard 4.4.0.0, Roli Studio Drums 1.3.0, Roli Studio Player 1.3.0. I am very unclear what I get by upgrading to Equator v2 vs v1, or what I get by upgrading Cypher to a full license, and do I have the full version of Strobe 2? It is all very confusing. The My Roli page should have a "show me available upgrades and expansions" where I can view what I have not yet purchased and get an overview...
I am also struggling with getting Cubase to understand MPE and getting the Rise to work with other engines, like Kontakt (specifically orchestral sounds from berlin orchestra, spitfire, etc) or Vienna Symphonic Library. Most of my work is centered around soundtrack work and integrating the Seaboard into that workflow and environment is a challenge, this is an area you guys need to work on. Connect with companies like Orchestral Tools, Vienna Symphonic Library, Kontakt, Spitfire, Cinesamples, just to name a few and get these companies to natively support your hardware, because the promise this hardware has is potentially game changing for orchestral music, if it actually worked in the real world natively with the big orchestral soundfonts.
I am also going to add, I just installed this through Roli connect and I am unable to find any of these presets. Do I have to have Equator 2 to use these?

I sure wish I could find a Seaboard RISE 49 new in box to buy.... MPE doesn't thrill me without 5D expression.... LUMI is 4D , I believe

Hi Chase, if you have ROLI Studio Player these sounds are free, just update through ROLI Connect to get them! But as Dan mentioned if you want the full Equator2 experience you can purchase it as a separate synth.

I'd love to keep upgrading my Roli... but man!!!! Why $149,00 for un upgrade????? Why?? I just bought my Roli and equator 1 and upgrade to Cipher2 and strobe2 . . . . ando now this? it is too much per Year. . . and are only soft-synths, super capable and cool, but why that price for your loyal customers? charge $50,00 or even $90,00 as many, but 250 new and 150 just the UpGrade??

and more into Roli and that surely helps... but still... I hope at least in the upgrades Roli becomes more accesible.
I'm not saying you should sell cheap... but yeah, the upgrades for us who are now captive clients.... make them more accessible. I'd say that will make Roli grow even more.
