    Thanks for the information. The mall looked really nice. I didnt see very many people in the clothing store though. Do you get a feeling if things are looking up financially in Romania or is it still very hard times?

      I am from Bucharest and everytime i travel to Brasov, the malls are usually empty.
      There are way too many things to see and do in Brasov than being indoors

    Very informative. Love these cost videos. However, when you took us into the gym I thought, ‘finally, Julie in short shorts’. But noooo, we get Warren’s haircut instead!
    Please ask the lady at 16:54 if she’s seeing anyone.
    Just curious, at what time of year do you dress the dogs in little sailor suits? 🤪

      🤣🤣🤣sorry to disappoint you with the gym expectation. 😁 regarding the young lady, she’ll probably read your comment 😁🤣 If we can find the sailor suits we’ll buy them, they would be good for summer time on Kotor Bay. Thanks for the entertaining comments 😁👍

      We may not get to Cluj this trip, we have Sibiu on the schedule after Brasov. We’ll then be heading South to Sofia. Thanks for the recommendation.

    Just for info. The mall is ok but for car wash and haircut they have pretty much triple prices than the average place.

      We did expect we were paying a little bit more but honestly we had snow, rain and cold conditions so we elected this option for convenience.

    Is it cheaper than Bulgaria?

    • @WarrenJulieTravel
      @WarrenJulieTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Based on our experiences: They are pretty much equivalent, if we compare Brasov to either Plovdiv or Varna.

      As a rule of thumb, keep in mind that Bulgaria lags behind Romania economically (lower salaries), so local produce is bound to be slightly cheaper.

    Hello, May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, & a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
    God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, & murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) & stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

    • @WarrenJulieTravel

      That’s too bad, the other countries you mentioned are great places, but you should try and experience a place before writing it off. I’ve had my preconceived opinions changed many times in our travels.

    • @Balconetti

      It sounds like you have something against Romania. Turkey is cheaper right now as they're not doing well economically. Serbia is much poorer and there's an obnoxious pro-Russia (Putin) sentiment there, not somewhere I would go.

    • @prika2000

      Czech Republic is considerably more expensive.

      @@Balconetti AlexR it sounds like you have something personal against Serbia and Turkey. Both countries are great. Turkey is more affordable, but Serbia has better infrastructure and its in Europe. Very friendly, very relaxed countries.
      I just have checked numbeo and it looks like "Local Purchasing Power in Bucharest is 33.23% higher than in Belgrade" and for me that is clearly huge advantage for Serbia. I haven't been checking Istanbul, because it is probably even better.

    • @Balconetti
      @Balconetti 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@prika2000 Cheap comeback. I was merely pointing out that Turkey is momentarily cheaper (who knows for how long) and Serbia has lower living standards than Romania. And sorry, but you can't discount politics! Serbia's support for Russia and disdain for the West is obnoxious (yes, I know they were bombed). How many liberal-minded people do you think want to live in a place like that?
