His character on this show was comedic genius, my favorite scene was when he took his van and cut it up to make a castle in Elaine's apartment. That gesture blew her mind!!.

“Tony’s Sister and Jim” was a great episode! Taxi’s run was filled with ups and downs as I felt that it was either great or mediocre at best. Season 1 and Season 5 were thin as the writers were finding their way early and barely hanging on at the end but the middle 3 seasons were wonderful. You could say the same for the acting. There was some brilliance with DeVito, Kaufman, and Lloyd and average from the rest. Much of the crew moved on to give us Cheers which I believe was a bit more consistent in the first 5 or so seasons as they improved overall in writing, acting, and production. Christopher Lloyd, George Wendt, Rhea Perlman, and Ted Danson all performed (at different levels) on both shows. The days of this style of situational comedy are over but we can still watch these timeless classics.

absolute dynamite character, and acted with deftness and aplomb by Lloyd. You can see where Seinfeld drew inspiration for his Kramer character

@@irenemax3574 yes but the characters share quite a number of characteristics, I would find it hard not to believe Jerry wasn't a fan of Lloyd's
