i would love to give you a blank check and see what you could do to my audi a4 2.0 tfsi quatro on a 06 man i dont think anyone could do better. not that i could
Can you ... Please do a complete coolant line introduction and explanation. Service manual contradicts itself. The flow chart vs diagram is completely different
Damn, those cams sound lumpy as all hell. Very cool, I know we are all looking forward to what the numbers are on the dyno and what the power band looks like with those cams. I hope that with being a 24v and the last iteration of the VR6, that the head flows a lot better than the 12v 2.8. If the VR6's heads flowed better stock the car would make a lot more N/A power. The fact of why the VR6's head doesn't flow well is well known, but I still wish that it could have flowed on the level of a B16A1. Yet lets face the facts, the VR6 is a compact 15 or 10 staggered 6 cylinder put into a small engine bay, and the sacrifice of being compact was everything had to be smaller. Yet, the VR6 is still a legendary engine in the fact its community is still using it and that VW's attempt to make a small compact SOHC/DOHC with 2 Cams in it is admirable. Wishing you much luck on this new journey with the 3.6L. Hey have you ever seen, messaged, or talked too Christian Smith or CliffJumper? 2 People who do a good amount of VR6 content here on TH-cam. Good people. Christian has 2 N/A VR6's MKIII VR6 and a MKIV VR6 Jetta Wagon, and both are tastefully Modded. CliffJumper has a SLC Corrado Z Engineering S/C and a MIV R32. Cool people and I figure the more VR6 content creators know of each other the easier it is for all of your channels to grow and reach a bigger audience.
I have deleted di on this 3.6 so its bound to be way different and not really comparable to anything until i have dyno time. Im working towards 10second 1/4 all motor times with my setup. I dont know anyone from youtube besides my buddy scott who does steeldrumsmokers from all the vw stuff here in maryland
@@SmithsEuro The other 2 I mentioned don't know each other yet but I mentioned them to each other in their respective comment section. What would it hurt to reach out to them as a fellow VW VR6 enthusiasts. Collaborations can help the community a great deal.
Love the sounds my ol 12v makes, and I'm ok with knowing it wasn't really made for performance, it was made to fit a 6 cyl in place of a 4, so the head has drawbacks. It's expensive to make one fast by NA, so throw a turbo on if you're going for power. I'm fine with my sticker, but I wouldn't mind stuffing a 3.6t in a mk1.
