Even if against new players, outnumbers are always a challenge anyway, especially if the newbies are playing willbender or harbinger you gotta be careful because how ape to play those specs are, they might kill you if you make a slightly mistake especially on high risk builds. My mains are mesmer thief and warrior, one of each armor type, and I play them all with full glass power and using only the professions defences to survive, and sometimes I get ganked by noobs, if one of them is a willbender is so tough to survive... So yeah, well done.
Yea good points, full glass specs definitely need to approach fights differently. Seems like anyone can play Harbi or WB and be a menace. DD ele deals with outnumbered melee pretty well including WB but condition spam from multiple players is very hard. Or a high damage range like deadeye combined with someone else ccing. Even if they are bad players individually.
I think it's good what you say, but even making outnumbered new players who are pressing all the buttons on their keyboard is a challenge, especially when you meet those players who go with extrasafe builds or who bring the build of pve and oneshot you in 1 second haha. Besides, whether it's boring or not, it's content and it's much needed in the game, so we have to support it!
As someone who has definitely made montages where there were new players (sometimes a lot of new players) and has watched other people with the same - I always respond the same way anytime anyone critiques the quality of the opponent. You only control what you control. It's certainly more impressive to kill high ranked players - but I can't tell you how many times I've tried to fight a 10k player only to have them base it to get away from me or it's a 10k player with 2 6k+ players. Or in PVP maybe you get a nice 1v1 VS a Top 5 titled player and then their 3 other high title players just camp you and BM you the rest of the match. You just take the fights you can. Plus, with GW2 being technically F2P, I always treat every fight like the person on the other end could be smurfing or a veteran player on a new account for whatever reason. Nevertheless I don't disagree that videos with players at or around the same tier of skill level are more entertaining to watch and there's more to learn from. I mean maybe for newer players who WANT to get into WvW and PVP, seeing a veteran player go nuts and nuke lowbies would be good for them to learn combos and stuff. Good video in any case tho, fun clips, great beats, also just keep killing lowbies no matter what coz f--k em! We all started somewhere and I certainly got my ass beat and still do lol, GGzzzzzzzz
