- Here's the footage from the afternoon of our first day at the St. Louis Goodwill Outlet bins back in December. We added a bit of voice over this time. Let us know what you think.
Check out our other channel @TheRebelReseller
Thank you for adding in the voice over. Hope you keep adding more. Love to hear you talk . I learn so much.
We are planning to do voice overs for future videos unless we're talking about the items as we pick them up.
I loved the part when Rebel threw half of the things Robert picked up back to the bins 😂
That's because she's the brains of this operation. :) I know there are certain things that she does not want so I leave them behind and pick up everything else. This lets her quickly sort through them from my cart and I don't risk leaving good items in the bins.

@@TheRebelPickers that's also beneficial for us to watch and learn

I love your videos, this was taking the fear out of going to the bins for me. Thank you😊
Most people at the bins are nice. We don't see a lot of rude people there.

Thanks for sharing your backgrounds with us. And the education. I love your videos!!!
Glad you're enjoying them. Thanks for watching!
You are a much better picker than me. I would have bought most of the plush and then wondered why it wouldn’t sell 😂😂😂😂
I told myself to be more picky this time. I love plush so it was not fun leaving so much behind.
Love the voice over. Loved the video!
Love the Voice Over 😊

Thanks for watching!
Love all of your videos. Thanks for sharing your backgrounds. Robert what small town did you grow up in? We are in small town central MO, Lohman. Which St Louis bins do y’all like better, Market St or N Corrington Ave?
I know where Lohman is. I worked in Jeff City for several years for the Dept of Conservation. I grew up in Bowling Green, north of St. Louis. I moved to Columbia for college and lived in that area until I moved to TN in my mid 30s.
It's obvious you have been doing this for a long time like you have said in your videos. But how long did it take you to get to the point that you can just look at something and know it's worth picking up? Also, in the 20+ years you have been doing this, there has been new plush that have come on the market, how do you keep up-to-date on what is good to pick up for resale? Thanks! Love this new channel!
Probably in the last 10 years I have grown more confident with plush. I still use google lens to check stuff. I really focus more on vintage plush but I still do research on newer plush as I come across them. Newer stuff, I think, ebb and flow in popularity and I check them more often but the vintage stays beloved and sought after. Hope that makes sense.
Hey guys, the voice over came out great! Bravo! 👏🏼
Makes perfect sense! Thank You!@@TheRebelPickers
Hope you get the Daniel Tiger plush. I sold a DT puppet in minutes. What about that beautiful tooled purse & sea grass basket? 🎉
When I was editing the video, I was saying, "Look at the purse, look at the purse." lol I didn't notice the sea grass basket either. Keep the comments coming because it helps us look for things in the future.

Hi Rebel and Robert, interested to know do you use promoted listings on all or any of your listings? Great new channel 😀
We use promoted listings on all of our listings. We've tried different rates over time. Currently, we promote at trending plus 1% with a cap of 8%. We always have a sale running, usually two a week. One runs Monday through Thursday and the other runs Friday through Sunday. Glad you're enjoying our videos!
@@TheRebelPickers thank you, I am trying to increase my store here in the UK and think I will try promoted listings to get some traffic. 🤩
I love the Bridgeton bins. Go there every 4 weeks when I come back to STL from KC. I don’t like the KC bins.
We do really well at both of the STL bins. Thanks!
@@TheRebelPickers thanks for replying. Did you like the STL City bins? I always go to Bridgeton because it’s closer to my parent’s house when I visit.
Plush is so hard to sell. It's TOO available .
What about the wood tracks for Thomas. Were they plain or were they Brio? Are they worth picking up?
They are so heavy that I don't normally pick them up at the bins. If they were Brio and at yardsales, I might if they were cheap enough.
Ah, that makes sense! My 35 year old son has the gigantic rubbermaid tote of brio (and Thomas) that we accumulated over the years! Their company's kids go bananas over it. He also confiscated all of the Legos lol. @TheRebelPickers
Hi double Rs
Hi Sheri!
How much is the plush there?
Plush and regular stuff from the bins are $1.89 a pound. I don't think they charge sales tax.
Did you keep the pillow people?
I'm pretty sure I did but I haven't found them in a bag yet.
Hope you can save her ❤
Rodeo clown 😂😂 pics? Videos??
Thankfully it was back in the 90s before everybody had a camera with them 24/7. :)
