Congratulations on receiving the best digital creator award recently. Also, getting award from the PM and your interview on television is an achievement in itself .
Unfortunately I must agree…you start off with a shot of First Class check in…stay at an upmarket hotel in central London…you mention the Oyster Card without introducing it…quite clumsy conceptually…why address a segment you have no empathy with?
There are many London videos which are helpful. Here you just recommend taxi, stay at Taj, travel in Business class etc. Should have a note that this is video for rich first time traveller
Love from Berlin, Germany although I am from Kolkata, India but working in Germany as a Software Engineer. We have almost travelled entire Europe including Germany which is amazingly beautiful including Bavarian Alps, Black Forest region but this time looking for explore UK and Highland of Scotland Insha Allah. We have applied for UK visa from Berlin and it was superfast got it in 3 days may be we are having EU Blue card along with UK sim card as a tourist gesture. As of cost, we are used to buying haradhanya in 1.5 euro and hence growing hara dhanya amazingly well in our backyard this summer.
Westminster, with 55.6% of its population in 2021, stands out as one of the London boroughs with most non-UK born residents. Westminster is the area with the second highest number of migrants in London. The borough is home to landmarks like the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. It covers a large part of central London, including famous places such as Westminster Abbey, Whitehall, Westminster Cathedral, 10 Downing Street, and Trafalgar Square.
I am doing my homework for London trip. Great filming and editing but couple of things I would point out to help others who are plannig. First, E-sims are cheaper option than international roaming. Tube is not only cheaper than taxi but saves you from trafiic. Shown at 8:48 is London tower, not London bridge which is often mistaken.
behind you was Tower bridge not London bridge. Borough market is one of the fancy grocery market..U didn't cover iconic Red Bus in your public transport information.
staying at central London is damn expensive, cabs are expensive - local transport (bus, over/underground is a preferred option as London has the best transport network - for bus there is a cap of 5£ for a day and you can travel anywhere within London with that and same goes for tubes, there is cap of 15£ for a day), oyster machine does give the change back. cards are widely used but cash is equally accepted everywhere, local sim is cheap than international roaming. the weather is unpredictable so be aware of winds and rains anytime but it lasts for very short time. many places like museums and parks have free entries, shopping is expensive- and food at times can be a problem. overall London is a great city to visit but be mindful of certain things which are wrongly mentioned in this video.
Hi Ma'am! I'm a big fan of your work. I'm Anurag, a software professional, and it's a personal dream of mine to meet you one day. Your content on TH-cam has been incredibly inspiring, and I look forward to the possibility of crossing paths with you in the future. Keep up the amazing work!
Since the last week I'm desperately thinking avt having a solo london trip, Even yesterday night watching so many london vdos just to get ahead with the plan 😅 and today Meri kamya jaan full fledged tourist information vdo ke saath haazir ho gayi 🙌 I mean is it a coincidence or a telepathy 🤔 Wtf this is creepy 😂😂 Anyways thank you Kamyaa jaan 🤗🧡🥂
Sorry Kamiya , but few of the information are wrong . Specially the SIM card information , local Lebara and Lyca sims are way cheaper than the international roaming charges and call/ data costs .
How much does it cost in total to do 1 month vacation in London for 1 person : - plane tickets (departure and return back) - visit the fantastic places in London - accommodation and food - buy souvenirs
Exactly even you book a hostle for per night in London it cost you around 10 to 15 ponds around 1k to 2k per night INR she just showing off and nothing 😂.
love this vlog of curly tales. Kamiya thanks for showing us some things in London even through l have family in diffterent states of UK. Do food vlog in Birmgham Southhall also go to the Gurudwara in Southall too.
Would also say, Borough market is literally one of the most expensive places to shop and if you wanted cheaper groceries, central London is absolutely not where you shop!
Absolutely! Most of points in this video is incorrect. It's a video made with lack of knowledge and is just a piece of content. One case in point is sim card and telephone connections. For £1, you can get a sim card and for a recharge of £5 you can get 100 minutes calling back to India. Why would I turn to international roaming?? I find this video to not only be poor in content but highly misleading
🤔 Well, Delhi is one of the most heavily polluted cities in India, having for instance one of the country's highest volumes of particulate matter pollution. So I'll go with Dehli for 10 points.
It's completely a wrong that international roaming is cheaper than a local sim. It absolutely is not. International roaming is insanely expensive at least on airtel. And, @8:50 that is not the London bridge lol. It is the tower bridge, big difference. I've not been to London and even I know this. It's almost as if you never went to London or if you did, didn't care enough to even know the basics. What is the point of a visit like that?
All you have mentioned is the most useless(basic) information one will receive before travelling to anywhere. And well nothing was mentioned for people who can travel economically or cheap. This video tells people - Stay at home, London is expensive, no need to visit there.
How very silly to spend 35 K on a hotel room when you will be outside most of the day exploring the sights.I am travelling in May ,June 24 and my daily average London room tariff is about 7 K.Hounslow Central seems to be ideal for Indians especially vegetarians. And it is well connected to all of London and just three stops from Heathrow Terminal 4 by the Underground Tube.
Buying a local sim is more expensive? Seriously? Lyca , lebara monthly plans are available at just 5£ a month with 100 international calls and lotnof local calls.
Bro she is just showing his lifestyle recommended expensive hotels and traveling by business class just a show off rather than a travel video. London is too expensive a single person can cost upto more than 2 or 3 lac. Even if you looking for cheap options for stay in hostel it cost 10 to 15 ponds per night in INR around 1k to 2k per night even a economy ticket cost for round trip around 80k to 90k it's depends on you if you take direct flight.
I did not expect this blunder from ‘Curly Tales’! The bridge you have shown is ‘Tower Bridge’ and not ‘The London Bridge.’ There is nothing architecturally special about the ‘The London Bridge’ except the nursery rhyme. Please spend more time verifying your research rather than interviewing Bollywood stars, and claiming to be a travel channel. The quality of your content is flagging! Also, Rishi Sunak is not an Indian, he is British but of Indian origin. Again, did not expect this from your channel.
Rishi sunak is considered more Indian than English here if I am perfectly honest by most of the white English ppl. Although he was born and bred here but both his parents are from India. The trouble is that the full Desi kids whether they are from first/second or third generation born and bred here are Too ashamed of their parents Indian heritage and they behave like they are Very English and constantly trying to fit in! Quite sad but pretty pathetic though. Because you should be proud of your Indian roots.
Congratulations on receiving the best digital creator award recently. Also, getting award from the PM and your interview on television is an achievement in itself .
I live in London, and you have put quite an effort covering almost everything , specially its a good enough for the 1st time travellers ❤❤
pagle
This was more of a show off video rather than a sincere London travel guide
Right
Exactly. Curly tale means that.
Unfortunately I must agree…you start off with a shot of First Class check in…stay at an upmarket hotel in central London…you mention the Oyster Card without introducing it…quite clumsy conceptually…why address a segment you have no empathy with?

Plz do visit Frank's cafe at Peckham Rye in London. It's a rooftop place which only operates in summer. The vibe is crazy.

The bridge is Tower Bridge, often confused as London bridge. London bridge is a different bridge and the original one isn't in London anymore.
I was just thinking that, glad to see someone else also spotted it!!
original was sold to USA
I am doing my homework for London trip. Great filming and editing but couple of things I would point out to help others who are plannig. First, E-sims are cheaper option than international roaming. Tube is not only cheaper than taxi but saves you from trafiic. Shown at 8:48 is London tower, not London bridge which is often mistaken.
The bridge featured is the Tower Bridge, London bridge is the less significant-looking one next to it.
behind you was Tower bridge not London bridge. Borough market is one of the fancy grocery market..U didn't cover iconic Red Bus in your public transport information.
Surprisingly helpful
Also a small correction
That was Tower Bridge and not London Bridge. Often mistaken

Correction:-> The bridge you showed in the video is actually TOWER BRIDGE and not London Bridge! Many tourists get mistaken with this one! ☝️
Made the same mistake as many..That is not London Bridge
Welcome to London, Kamiya. Hope you enjoy it!
❤❤
Thank you! 😃
Please pay the taxi driver rather than being happy how you bargained. Do you do the same when you're buying LV and Gucci belts?

Yes this video is well done... And I've discovered an extra trick to get cheap train tickets❤❤
It is Immigration at the destination and Emigration at the departing airport.❤️
Your best vlog ever, with mind blogging colour and clarity... ❤
Amazing work . thanku kamiya for showing
Sometimes I find train tickets a bit expensive... But luckily I found a way to save money!
Sorry Kamiya , but few of the information are wrong . Specially the SIM card information , local Lebara and Lyca sims are way cheaper than the international roaming charges and call/ data costs .
