Thanks Dave, damn its been a long time. I think for most of these songs I typically set my bass around 9-10 o clock, mids 2-3, treble 1-2 and the rest varies.
@@90sPunkRockCovers That's what I'm toying with. I actually own the same Ampeg VL-1002 head Tom used on this record (and Cheshire Cat). I'm close to the tone. I'll probably cut the bass a little more and see. Thanks Sam.
@@daveeatworld nice! Never got a chance to try one of those Ampegs, it worked well for Tom for many years. I would say keep your bass lower, I set my bass low on pretty much any amp I dial, obviously there are exceptions to that. I find Marshall style amps need to have a little more low end to get rid of the shrill but they also seem to loose definition when you push it too high, so 12 o clock is probably the max I would go in almost any amp. I'm trying to play guitar, not bass 😂
@@90sPunkRockCovers Gotcha.....the ampegs are great. I would recommend one if you ever have the chance to snag one (VL-502 is 50 watts, 1002 is 100 watts). They're basically modded JCM800s with a dedicated clean channel. I'm finding it a bit too fuzzy and muddy so I'll cut the bass more, I'll try 9 o'clock to start. Thanks Sam.
AMAZING! Best punk rock covers on youtube!
Thom Green thanks a lot my man 🙏🏼
so much sound from a 3 man band. Blink were incredible song writers and tom made some very catchy riffs.
Definitely, so many memorable riffs.
An entire generation of guitar players started with that iconic riff! Such a blast to play! 🤘

The first person that play the chorus in the correct way

Tone is great on this cover. Do you remember off hand the settings? Lower on the bass, higher on the mids? etc.
Thanks Dave, damn its been a long time. I think for most of these songs I typically set my bass around 9-10 o clock, mids 2-3, treble 1-2 and the rest varies.
