See it unboxed, assembled, and tried for the first time. I review the coffee machine over a few days and show how it brews pots of coffee, over ice coffee, k-cups, specialty brews, frother, and hot water!
Very detailed, you spoke clearly and were not in a hurry to demonstrate the unit.
You also included how to move the water tank from the side to the back which most of the YT videos here missed. Awesome job ❤️♥️❤️👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Have had this machine for about 6 months (with the stainless carafe). I just bought the new Keurig K-Cafe Smart but returned it and went back to this one. The coffee it makes is just MUCH better than the keurig.
Thanks so much for this review. I just bought this a few weeks ago and it's been sitting in the box because I've been intimidated to unbox it and start learning how to use it. This video inspired me to finally pull it out of the box and start testing it out. 😊
Thought your video was very fair and I love how you had all the necessary detail of each feature without being too detailed. You didn’t get too far into the quality of the brew however that’s not the purpose of this review. One addition you could have added was to explain up front that the ninja line is designed for people who want a lot of features and versatility and a better than average brew quality but it’s not for true coffee connoisseurs and that if you’re a coffee snob you need to look at high end expensive models or simple and relatively inexpensive manual coffee presses. This coffeemaker is more like a “do everything” coffee tool for the somewhat discriminating average Jane or Joe.
As a long time owner of a few Ninja coffee makers that I wore completely out over roughly 20 years I thought your feature review of the Ninja Pro was spot on. Great Job!

I threw my last Keurig in the trash. I’ve had at least 4 in the past 5 years, they don’t last and the coffee isn’t great. I just purchased this one and so far I love it. Thank you for reviewing all the features!

WW bought a sliding tray to go under the coffee maker so we can easily slide it under the cabinet when we aren’t using it. We bought this coffee maker last week with the stainless steel carafe and are delighted with the purchase so far!

I just got this machine. I wanted it for a year, but had just bought a Keurig dual machine and had to use it for a while until I felt justified getting a new one. You covered all of the features very well!

I just got this coffee maker for Christmas. It says to use medium ground coffee but yet you used fine for your specialty coffee. Do you always use fine? Thank you.
I use fine grind for specialty brew because I like it stronger. You can certainly use medium grind and then go finer according to your taste.

Loved everything about this video. The only suggestions I would make is to forget the music while it’s brewing because I’d like to hear how loud the machine is and also do you have to use a Keurig K cup or can you also use the one you can add your own coffee to it. Thank you!

My babies surprised me with this for my birthday, still adjusting.I have had a cheap economical one from Aldi worked well, didn’t have to get filters came with little rinsable basket for ground coffee which has been awesome! Giving it a try though, ❤ how Ny babies where intentional with this!

Great review! I just bought this because of your review. I have a Keurig with the frother built-in. I just don’t think it makes a good cup of coffee. My daughter has a Nespresso which is great but I don’t drink a lot of espresso. You can do regular coffee also but the pods are so expensive. Thanks again for this great review!

Depends on which brew you select. Each one though, is less than a minute unless you fill the coffee pot. If for a single cup, less than a minute

Great and complete review thank you. Very interested in buying a machine but I was wondering if there is a mute function so it does not beep when you hit a button or when the coffee is ready?
Thank you. I don’t believe there is a way to silence the beep sound without physically opening up the machine and disconnecting some wires, which is not recommended!

Had a regular ninja drip coffee for four years, but my routine of making a pot at 6 am and trying to get that last cup around 9 and the coffee was awful by then. A month ago I bought a keurig express, and am quite disappointed... lacks flavour I believe due to the lower water temps. (180 f in the cup...too low.. coffee is recommended 195 to 204 I believe) If this model can brew at hot temps(?) it may be the solution I'm seeking. Any reviews out there showing how just hot the coffee come out at?

Was just wondering if you’ve had any issues with the K cups spilling out coffee from the top. I have read complaints from K cup coffee machines that have the 3 punch holes. Keurig has gone back to only 1 punch hole needle plus the new Ninja model that does basically the same as this model has only 1 punch hole for the K cups.
I personally haven’t had any issues like that with the k cups.
Can you pre set? So i can have my cafe already brewed when I wake up? Just got mine today & ur video has helped soooo much!
Thank you! Yes, you can pre set. It’s called delay brew. Press “delay” after you close the lid with coffee in the machine and set the time you want the brew to start.
Had mine a little over a year, now its making a noise like it's gonna explode, steams real bad, it won't make the k cuts at all and only makes a half pot of coffee when placed on full pot. Tried cleaning it and everything, a couple times, even ran cleaning mode

Thank you for the review. I'm wondering if the specialty feature can only be used with ground coffee, or can you use k-cups as well?
Specialty brew can only be used with ground coffee. With k-cups, you can brew “regular” or “bold” styles.
I don't see why not . Because you're pre-frothing, before the liquid is dispensed into the cup.

@@angiea8022 All depends on what brand/flavor K-cup you use. I've had good ones & I've also had terrible ones lol. It seems to me that the machine makes them well, but the actual quality of the coffee is more dependent on the k-cup itself.
I have made specialty coffees with k-cups.
How long did it take for the 14 oz iced coffee?
There are so many reviews of the k-cup adapter letting grounds in (and Ninja not covering a replacement part). Did that happen with yours? Also, when you use the hot water, does it completely bypass the coffee? As in, if I had a coffee pod left in there, does it go through the coffee part?
I have not personally had grounds in my coffee from k-cups. Yes, the hot water completely bypasses the coffee plumbing.

I don’t know if any machines with a metal filter basket unfortunately.
Have a older model Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker that has one. That’s something I’m looking back into as a choose another model purchase.

Will the water for tea taste like coffee cuz it runs thru same system?
Mmm. I'm embarrassed to say because I know I'm wrong, but I don't have that knob on the left side (facing machine) for hot water system. On the same side as measuring spoon.
Just got rid of my favorite Cuisinart Keurig coffee maker. It was thee best. Too old to buy another. I hope this one works out well for me. Great review. Really helpful.
I think there are different variations sold exclusively at certain retailers like Wal-Mart.

Did you ever get the five beeps of death on your old coffee bar machine? It usually happens with calcium buildup that’s what’s leading me to getting a new coffee maker, myself tired of cleaning this thing
No, but it sounds terrifying 😆! I only retired my older machine because I wanted the newer technology of the new model. I think you’ll be happy with your decision.

Do you find the coffee comes out hot enough? I've brewed 3 cups so far, on just-bought Ninja DualBew, and it's not as hot as my previous $25 target coffee maker. But the taste is waaayy better from the exact same coffee grounds.
But the thing is, I'm watching some videos, and I'm hearing that you can enjoy the taste better with lower temperatures. Hotter temps mask flavor somehow.
It's still hot enough for me, I'm thinking, but curious about others' opinions.
I just thought of something. I've only brewed single cups of 12 0z so far. When I saw you brew that half carafe size, it looked pretty hot. I bet you get a hotter cup, when you brew more at one time.
Yes, brewing more at a time results in hotter coffee in the end. I believe brew ten is around 200f if I recall correctly.
According to this video you can adjust the temperature on this machine.
Is there a measuring cup to know how much coffee grounds to put in to make iced coffee. Pots single etc.
@@sandrar9608 there are videos on TH-cam. Offering examples of; "coffee brewing ratios" and measuring devices. Such as, measuring cups.

So the frother does not make the milk/cream hot and u have to pre-heat it?
We just purchased the Ninja Dual Brew with the thermal carafe, model #CFP355A. The instruction manual shows knob on the side for hot water, but there is not one on our machine. What is your model?

I didnt see any filter in the basket does this require filters or does the cone basket filter it itself.
You do need to use #4 cone filters.
My biggest pet peeve with all of the ninja coffee machines is that the carafe has no lines on it to indicate how much is in it. Normally like to brew 4 cups to split between the fiancé and myself. Of coarse we don’t have the same cup size/shape. Makes it not easy to eyeball it.
I just acquired this Dualbrew. It seems that, on the programmable dial. You can adjust the amount of liquid to satisfy the size of the cup or the amount of ounces per cup.
Therefore, you can fill the water reservoir container. And if you correctly adjust the programmable dial. The end result should give you the desired results.
It shows it on the front of the machine.
That would be because you tell it how much to put into the carafe, so if you want 4 cups you brew 48 ounces
@@Lperrya coffee cup isn't 12 ounces. It's about 5 oz.
@@garyjewell6753 yes, but the measurements on the water reservoir don't really equate to the dial. It lists a 1/4 carafe as 28 oz. on the dial but that's really about 1/2 carafe. Plus the dial ounce measurements aren't clearcut like 2 or 4 cups. It makes it difficult to work out the amount of coffee to use for each amount and to each person's taste. And no, I don't go by the Ninja scoop as scoops ate inaccurate. It's best to go by weight and use a scale.

Yes, it has a "delay" feature and lets you specify the exact time to start brewing.

Does it remember your last cup size or do you have to adjust it every time?
It will stay set on the last cup size until you change it. You don’t need to adjust every time unless you’re changing the amount.

How long does it take to drew the different settings though?
Mine lasted two whole months , ninja offered 0 help, I read similar bad reviews on Amazon (same issue I have)
I get constant cleaning cycle warnings from the machine. Followed the instructions to a "t" it barely makes a cup of coffee now.
I have had the machine 2 months in and this started. Now 4 months or so in , I am ready to throw it in the trashcan. As ninja never came with a solution to the issue.
Really wanted to like this machine , I love the frother and the hot water dispenser. Looks really cool , but as a actual coffee machine . It falls short.
Going back to a Keurig, and yes used ONLY filtered water in them machine. My last Keurig lasted 8 years !
Sorry to hear that. I have never experienced issues with their products. I owned the original coffee bar for 4+ years and only bought this new one because I wanted something new.

I use both pod coffee & caraf for tazo passion fruit tea pitcher tea bags.. . it's delicious could be hotter but paper cup as suggested creates a hotter cup of coffee...always heat (microwave) your cream !!
