I had a year old ninja that was not giving the correct amount of coffee and had a ton of coffee grounds in the cup. It was the three prong type. I tried fixing it but to no avail. I got a refund from the store that I bought it from so that made my day. Today, I bought this specific model and I could not be happier. My brother got me this same ninja coffee maker for Christmas. We decided since it’s just My brother and my nephew and myself we had our Christmas on Christmas eve. And I’m going to have my first cup of coffee from my new Ninja coffeemaker tomorrow morning. I’m so excited to taste the coffee out of the machine compared to the keurig coffee maker I’ve had for about 10 years and absolutely love keurig coffee makers and the K Cups. I’m happy this coffee maker uses the K cups because I have a bunch still and did not want to get rid of them.
Just got this coffee maker for myself. On sale at Costco. I had a keurig not sure which model. I was really nervous switching. So far I enjoy it. Appreciate your detailed video on all the features. I use the filters for the reusable kcup filter.
Thank you for this very informative video. We just bought the XL version, with a 14 cup carafe, from BJ’s. We brewed our first pot this morning and the coffee was very hot when first poured but seemed to cool off quickly. After watching your video, I learned about being able to change the setting of the warming plate. I have reset it to HIGH and hopefully that will be more to our liking. Otherwise, we found this easy to use and like having all of the features housed in one unit.
I'm so over Keurig there coffee makers are junk anymore I've had 4 replacements now all different issues this last one I've had since July after brewing 1 or 2 cups it powers off you have to unplug & keep trying till it comes on which sometimes is 8 times. This seems really nice thanks for what you do. Pat PS I'm still waiting to see what you are going to sell
I will never purchase another Keurig. I purchased one last year and it barely lasted six months. That was with using bottled water and water filter in the water reservoir. I too had issues with it turning on and brewing properly. Cleaning the needle didn't fix it either. I ended up getting a Mr. Coffee Lux maker for brewing regular and iced coffee and for my K Cups I use my Instant Single Serve coffee maker. Both have been working well with no issues and make great cups of coffee! If you read many of the reviews on Keurig, there are many people who have nothing but issues with their makers no matter if they are low end or high end. From what I've read their older brewers would last and their new ones just don't. Hope others will see my experience and try other brewers so they don't waste their money.
THANK YOU!!! This was very helpful I been using this for over a year and I am just now starting to learn how to use these filters and the other things that come with it.
Update 10/28 Great review! We've been using the Cuisinart model CBC-6400PC for years; in fact, we’re on our second one from Costco, and this one has lasted about nine years. Yesterday, on 10/27, we were at Costco and saw the Ninja Dualbrew 14-cup with K-Cup compatibility on sale for $89. After cleaning it with vinegar and then water, I tried it out, setting it to "Rich" because we like strong coffee. The taste was terrible! I told my wife we’d give it another shot in the morning. We usually make 10 cups with two 1/2-cup scoops of Bustelo coffee, which works great in the Cuisinart CBC-6400PC and the coffee taste very good.. But with the Ninja, the coffee was so weak, almost like drinking tea. I’ll be returning it to Costco today and getting the new Cuisinart Brew Central 14-cup Programmable Coffee Maker, model CBC-7400PC. I cannot get away from Cuisinart, it's the best coffee machine ever!
Great video, I do have a question. I got an extra silicone rubber nipple cover, can you tell me what is it for? Does not look like the one inside the water canister. It is round. Thanks in advance!

if you compare this to a Keurig, I think you should compare it to the K-supreme plus smart brewer. as far as your new coffee, may I suggest a dark chocolate hazelnut k-cup coffee. when you reviewed it, you said you wished it had more of a dark chocolate flavor. I agree & I hope you can come out with it as I am sure it would taste great. K-cups come with as little as 31 grams to as much as 45 grams. please try to have a higher gram content of coffee as it would be stronger. the dark chocolate k-cup has 33 grams. if you could do it at least 35 to 37 grams at a minimum if not more, it would taste fantastic. thank you.

It only gave us the 8,10, 12 ounce k-cup option. We wound up wasting coffee grounds because it only let out 12 ounces for a k-cup. Can u help? I even put the grounds adapter in and it didn’t show a carafe selection.

Same! The Costco is an XL version, so a bit different (like it comes with the reusable filter and has more functions). But this video was the only one I could find that was close to my model.
@@blackeneddove I like it A LOT, borderline love it. Can anyone tell me what the tiny silicon rubber plug-like thing was that came in a tiny box inside the pitcher? Not in manuals, not a part available online and not seen in any video.
What’s the point of the grounds adapter? It seems useless to me. I’ve had the CFP301 for a year and a half. Recently the lights started dimming on the front to the point they look burnt out. Ninja offered to replace the same model for 50% off, but I think I’m just going to buy this instead. I like the more simple attachments. Way easier to clean. I have the previous duel brew pro model and love it. This one doesn't have the built-in frother like the previous model. Does this one have a "hot water only" function?
I get tons of coffee grounds with every cup. It immediately showed the "clog" code. Did everything to declog. Ran a clean cycle. This is after only 3 or 4 cups of coffee. What are we doing wrong?
Great review like always but I have what some might say a stupid question. Let’s say you just made a fresh pot of coffee and someone wants to use the pod feature. My concern is accidentally getting burned by the hot plate. Can you turn it off and then turn it back on to replace the carafe?
Hi. I just got this coffee maker for Christmas. So far I love it. My wife is not a coffee drinker but with some of the k cups, she is enjoying. Great video. Do you have a link to where I can purchase the k cup that you show on this video where I can use my own coffee? Thank you.
We just bought the Ninja dual Brew XL DFP105CO from Costco to replace our Hamilton Beach dual that started going bad. We haven't used the Ninja that much yet but it seems like a nice coffee maker. It is quite tall to fit under the cabinets and all of our cabinets are standard height. I found that if I do not attach the storage piece in the back, and I move the plug to an adjacent outlet, I am able to push the Ninja back far enough to open the lid and insert a K-Cup. The only issue we are seeing is that the lid does not open easily and takes a bit of force. I don't know if this is normal or not. Maybe after a few uses it will get easier. Anyone else feel that the lid is somewhat difficult to open?

I mostly brew pod, iced coffee and then carafes when family visit. I liked my CFP301, so I am sure I’ll be happy with this one too.
I have the previous duel brew pro model and love it. This one doesn't have the built-in frother like the previous model. Does this one have a "hot water only" function?
no hot water function.
He kind of answers this starting at 13:51 and 18:53 of the video. HTH
I wonder if I can add my loose tea leaves
Hi. I just got this coffee maker for Christmas. So far I love it. My wife is not a coffee drinker but with some of the k cups, she is enjoying. Great video. Do you have a link to where I can purchase the k cup that you show on this video where I can use my own coffee? Thank you.
They available at Walmart
Super helpful thank you 😊
We just bought the Ninja dual Brew XL DFP105CO from Costco to replace our Hamilton Beach dual that started going bad.
What are the differences from the 101 to the 105 model?
How large is the water reservoir?
How do i get my coffee hotter? Its really not warm when i make it
Can you program start times for single pods?
Just unboxed mine and the hotplate will not turn off. I brewed a pot and it left the hotplate on for well over 4hrs. Any solution to this?
Great machine! Good job with your review. I would like to see a review of cleaning the top and bottom needles.
How tall of a travel mug can you fit underneath
I make it the night before put it in the fridge then add half&half and international delight caramel then one pump of caramel then drink it.
sounds yummy!
@@JustADad delicious I also make another batch and then refrigerate it for the next day while I'm drinking my iced coffee oh I've been meaning to ask you how do I descale my k elite?
