    Well, one thing's for sure. After seeing this, out east here, we have hills, lol, not mountains. Those mountains are up where our clouds are!!! Cool lil doggy riding that Harley!!! Thanks for bringing us along on another fantastic ride buddy!!! Cheers!

    Wow Forrest! What a beautiful area.
    Your family has been so kind to you on your northbound adventures. Videography is spot on again and how you captured footage of yourself twelve feet off the left front was interesting. We're you filtering that water you collected from the glacial runoff? ( MacGyver trick). The gentleman who shared with you deserves a beer or two. ( motodogz?)
    Stay safe and healthy.

    • @NorthboundMotorcycleADV

      A beautiful area indeed.
      My family was the whole reason behind the trip, I had the best visit with my Aunt and Cousin. They are the best!! 😁❤️🇨🇦
      The glacier water was sooooo good, and yes I filtered the water right there from my bike.
      Shannon was an absolute godsend, and yes, we shared several beers together 🍻
      Thanks again for riding along Ed, see ya on the next one 🇨🇦

    That was a gorgeous ride. The mountains, glaciers and blue water in the rivers, awesome! Great camera angles. So, how was the glacier water? The shots of that fire were amazing. Too bad you had all that smoke the next day. Still, what a great area. Thanks!!

      @NorthboundMotorcycleADV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The water was the best I have ever tasted 😁
      The fire was intense to watch with the high winds pushing it all over the place…
      Man what a ride….
      Thanks again for watching and I’m really glad you enjoyed it 🍻😎🇨🇦

      Thanks,
      I have to admit it was beautiful in its own way, but I would have preferred it not happen. Wildfire is a part of life where I live and it’s truly terrifying….

    The landscape is incredible. Thanks for sharing it as much as you have. The first view of the fire on the mountain was startling in how massive it was. It seemed more like a volcano.
    You were so excited about tasting the glacier water but you never shared what you thought of it. I used to drink out of streams here in the mountains back in the 70s but Giardia put a stop to that. Now I use a purifier (seldom) or carry tap water with me.
    You and the Himalayan are having some fun!

      Hi Scooter!
      You’re right, I never did say if the water was any good or not. 🤔 Well, I’m happy to tell you my friend, it was amazing! I filled up all my water bottles and was able to drink filtered glacier water for about two days before I ran out. Very cold and very tasty I am happy to report! 🤣👍🍻😎

    We have wild fires, bushfires as we call them here in Australia, and some seeds won't germinate unless they have been roasted in the fire.

    • @NorthboundMotorcycleADV
      @NorthboundMotorcycleADV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Now your talking my language!!
      We to have several trees with serotinous cones which REQUIRE the heat of the fire to open them up in order to germinate the seed. An amazing strategy for survival.
      The Giant Sequoia trees (the largest trees in the world by volume) germinate in this manner.
      Thanks so much for the comment and I’m really glad you like the channel.

      @@NorthboundMotorcycleADV makes sense. Was wondering if you had had to drive to all these redwood locations from farther away. (I was guessing you lived in the Bay area)

    Did you have to do any mods to be able to ride the bike at highway speeds?

    • @NorthboundMotorcycleADV
      @NorthboundMotorcycleADV  ปีที่แล้ว

      No engine mods, the bike will go at highway speeds, (but I keep it to a minimum)
      Thanks for watching 🍻😎
