- Newly elected National Assembly Deputy Speaker, Dr Annelie Lotriet, speaking on working with the ANC, - "The voters have spoken, and it is now up to political parties to find a way forward." She adds that accepting different views from political parties in parliament can go a long way in managing affairs.

Why can't we accept the voters changes and move on because we want peace, unity, working together and the environment that is condusive in the country.
We welcome you Dr Lotriet ,and we hope you'll do SA right because being A National Assembly Speaker requires an individual who will assess both sides and not to side along with anybody sothat every participant won't be intimidated when they convey their opinions

What makes me laugh is that MPC is what destroyed ActionSA. It was easy for former DA disgruntled members to revert back to their party because the new one proved to be the same thing if not worse. @@mlisto293not really, the people that left the DA because of Mmusi are now back with the DA. Remember they went and voted for FFPlus to show that they were unhappy. As a matter of fact DA’s increase in seats at national level is equal to the decrease in the FFPlus seats from 2019. But if you look at the actual numbers they have not increased.
Samilarly with the ANC, all those seats they’ve lost have gone to the MKP. Again because they are unhappy with the ANC.
I believe the DA would have gotten a lesser percentage if there was a higher voting turnout.
