I LOVE the minis. One thing I can say is that since I started using them my control over the full size delrins has improved drastically.

I believe that the extra cord that came with these was 275 paracord. So you can definitely find that in several colors. But it's not the exact same cord, obviously, and will play a little different than the sterling setup.

It’s the same size as 275 but I was under the assumption that it was still accessory cord but in different colors. But you’re right, 275 does come in a larger variety of colors. I’d love to throw some white on these white delrins.

@@natemartsolf Oh, you might be right. I've only seen black accessory cord from sterling, but apparently they do offer it in different colors... exact same patterns as most 275 I've seen so I guess I was the confused one.

Nice! I have heard that the wood ones can be easier to learn on, as they have a little more friction and less slip than the delrins.

The wood MKs are great for learning. The only issue is that due to the larger size and thinner cord they tend to get tangled up where that's not much of an issue with the delrins. Once you have the basics down and are fully confident that it's something you'll be sticking with I recommend picking up a set of delrins. It's truly night and day IMO.
