I need to start acting right because I’ll pay about $65-$80 after only a Friday night dinner 🥲 I live in California so it can be pricey. I think it’s worth an expense if it’s budgeted in and it brings you joy.
As a ballin on a budget queen, I would love to see a budget friendly day trip to a city outside of Seoul. Just a good time, good food, and pretty pictures.
considering that you were not only going out, but going out for very ~special~ occasions, i think you got your money's worth! its kind of wild when i actually think about how cheap mass transport is there not the club switching up the music😭
I feel like the prices in Seoul aren't as bad as people make them out to be, it's quite similar to Daegu but definitely do a video on how much you spend on groceries and cafes as that's what I spend my money on haha. Loved this video! 🥰
Thats cheaper than most big cities I’d say. In Oslo you could not get a dinner with drinks for 60 dollars at a fancy place, let alone an whole night on the town. Great video concept, vey informative!
Omg this was so interesting! I've been wondering how expensive it is in Seoul seening all your going out vlogs! But I live in California, so this seems inexpensive. It's awesome that the public transportation is so reasonably priced!
I would be curious to see some sort of grocery shopping from you. A lot of the Korean vloggers I watch get grocery delivery. And I know you don’t love to cook but your recent organization video made me curious about your pantry and grocery shopping. I have you got the produce hook up but what else are you buying?
I live in Texas and the prices you mentioned seemed a lot more affordable than over here. Looked like a great time. Also your friend's music was magical.✨
How hard is it to move to another country overall? (Things like cost, paperwork, adjusting to a new culture, jobs etc.) I want to do it one day but I fell like I would be an anxious wreck for a little bit 😅
well when I moved I came over with the govt program of EPIK (teaching in english)-- so all the hard stuff they figured out so it wasnt all that hard. The hard part was getting into the program. Then from there- you just packed up your stuff and then moved on over. I will say getting out of teaching was alot because you need to find someone to sponsor your visa etc etc. Tbh if you want something like moving to a new country etc- you just gotta go ahead and do it. Like prepare yourself for it, manage that stress and anxiety as best as you can- and just go! Life waits for no one, so if you want it- then go get it bb!!! :)
I love this breakdown!! I'm in Seoul right now for another week so it's good to know what to expect when going out. Also you talked about a few clubs and as an over 30 girl myself would you be able to recommend anymore clubs that would be good to go to in Seoul for dancing? My birthday is on Saturday!!
the ONLY other club that I like- is Channel 1969 and that's in yeonnamdong! The vibe is really fun, the people are chill- and just a good time overall. Check out their IG to see who's playing this week! :) Also happy early birthday Rabbit Usagi bb!!!!
when i was looking at the expenses in U.S. dollars i was like oh that isn't that bad and then I saw the total and was like oh yeah that can be a lot. I tend to spend even more money where I live but that's because since I'm already spending, I just decide to buy anything lol. i feel like the least i spend when i go out for a whole day is about $100 haha
No way, are you kidding me!???!?! Why is everything so cheap in Korea - and in Seoul at that - the freaking capital of the country!!! Also, I've heard it a lot before but DAMNN Korea's public transports and taxis are SO cheap!!! That's why when people go to Japan, they say it's so expensive compared to SK but really I think it's because SK's transports are so freaking cheap!!! 😉🙃😊
As someone who lives in Boston, MA $62-63 for 1 weekend is so good 🥲 that’s how much you spend in 1 night (and that’s if you’re being conservative with spending)
oh no I meant it as like- I didnt film this in mind so I dont have the exact numbers of what I spent, nor is the footage of those days focused on me talking about the prices 😅
Thanks so much for watching bbs! Question for ya, is going out in Seoul cheaper or more expensive where you live? I'll see ya in the next one!
same price plus add the extra cost of deciding to be a vegetarian (aka the higher vegetarian food prices) >
Your going out was way cheaper than I expected
Especially when it came to the price of transit!
Seoul seems definitely cheaper!

i'd definitely be interested to see the cost of groceries and pet care (food/vet bills/etc) 🤔
okies great to know!! thanks for watching bb!!

Prices are relative to income, so, yes it may seem less expensive but considering the minimum wage is 9,620 won which is roughly $7.12 usd.
❤️ eeeee love this vid - thank u for the shout out n vibing together at the party until 4am. made it such a special night for me🥲

This video is really interesting!
I would love a supermarket video, and how much do a person usually spend in groceries over there 😊!
Thank you so much for writing down the music you use, my playlists are improving with each video ^_^
Really interesting video I would love to see one for the cafes or groceries 🙈
yes I will get on ittt! :)
wow can't believe how inexpensive a night out is over there. i live in los angeles so seeing how prices COULD be is really eye opening
Really enjoyed this video! Also the end shots with Albi!
aww thank you Roxanne!!!!
As an Australian this average daily spend is a dream 🥲 (in Sydney if you want to have fun like this it will be 100+ aud)
Albi is sooooo cute. Now just because that extra scene at the end I need to watch more Albi content 😅
Loving these blogs, even if it’s you cooking and talking albie out. It’s giving og TH-cam

@@YOHOMEGIRL thanks for the insight!
Actually that doesn’t seem as bad as I thought it would be lol I’m glad you had fun!!
this is actually really interesting! I don't live in a city though so I don't have much to compare it too
Thank goodness for those usd conversions cos the thousands of won sounded so overwhelming.😅
Those are actually really great prices! In NorCal/Bay Area, going out I already know I’m gonna spend at least $100 😢
dude i went out in LA, and the dinner alone- I was like umm I cant do this lmao
Thank you for doing this video. I’ve been curious about this as well. ❤
yay glad to hear that you liked the video Heather!
I would absolutely love to see a cafe pricing vlog.
Ooh loved this idea, would be curious how much a cafe hopping type of day would cost.

yeah what really helped is that we split almost everything :)
You can film it in mind there’s nothing wrong with that, people who say it is are toxic
oh no I meant it as like- I didnt film this in mind so I dont have the exact numbers of what I spent, nor is the footage of those days focused on me talking about the prices 😅
