- Hey guys, it's been a while since I last visited Hongdae for clubbing, but I recently went back and wanted to share my recommendations with you all! ✨
We went to this amazing Korean restaurant in Hongdae where we didn't have to wait at all. Also we were once again surprised by the crazy price of cocktails in Hongdae.
Nevertheless, we had a blast exploring some of the fun clubs and bars around the neighborhood!

Loved the video! I lived in Korea for 2 years and Hongdae was like a second home for me hahah I used to pregame on the train/hostel then at Thursday party, before going to Mike's Cabin or NB1/NB2 then getting some Monster Pizza at the corner. I'm doing a last-minute trip next month to check up on a loved one and realized it's been 5 & 1/2 years. Glad to see Hongdae is still the fun spot! Thanks for the advice! Definitely checking out Corner pub, Docking and La Bamba! I hope 5000 won AMF's and Mike's Cabin are still around lol

@@Chaerin_ssi hmm. Went clubbing in Hongdae last month and it felt a bit like sex tourism sometimes. Foreigners hitting on Koreans and vice versa. I just left after a girl grabbed my d*ck without even asking.

Ayo so I've been here for a long time as an exchange student and my friends group practically lives in Hongdae haha. So I do know all those places and I'd honestly not choose to go there ... If you're looking for a Bar, just go to Thursday Party right next to Zig Zagg (-> better in my opinion, not that darkish) and if you have korean friends, maybe don't go to La Bamba because Koreans are the only ones that have to pay an entrance fee nowadays, which is sad because foreigners get in for free... I highly recommend Zen Bar for foreigners that want to listen to the most known western culture party songs and most popular Kpop songs or Zen Bar 2 for Hip Hop! Cheers! ^^

What is it like to club in the winter? I'm going in 2 weeks and I haven't been in the winter just yet.
Well club in summer is very busy but people don’t stop partying in winter ! You can still have lotta fun in winter! 😁
What is the best transportation to get back? 2 AM no subway available 😢
Take a taxi or usually eat Gukbap and soju (pork soup which has many 24h restaurants) until 5~6am to take the first subway

I'm visiting in September. Hope the bouncers won't have a problem with a blond, white 40-year-old Scandinavian. Although, I am past the "nightclub" years and more of a bar/pub guy. My friend went to Hongdae and was told to leave by 3 places. One lady even said that she doesn't trust "waeguk-saram" in her club (she let other white women in). I met a lot of Koreans, and have nothing but good experiences with them. But in some Japanese and Korean places I went to in Asia, I was not let in because I'm a foreigner. Any precautions, to take and advice?
My friend and I are going in September too. We are planning to be there for 2 weeks since 8th of September and we struggle to find good clubs for foreigners too.
