- The Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus loudspeaker was released in 1993, is still made today, and has changed very little since its introduction. As a result, this 30-year-old loudspeaker is considered by many to be an iconic hi-fi design. In this video, SoundStage! founder Doug Schneider talks to Nautilus Builder Rob Algeo about how the Nautilus’s cabinet gets made. Its construction happens at the Bowers & Wilkins factory in Worthing, England, in an area appropriately called the Nautilus Room.

This speaker is a work of art. Classic audiophile history
I agree!
One of the coolest looking speakers ever
Agreed!
Could have watched an hour of this , is there a longer version coming ?❤
Unfortunately there is no longer version coming. This Nautilus Room video was a small part of a much larger tour and other videos, including this one: th-cam.com/video/cYlr40snceY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eUDk_l_JzCgZ23z2
man I remember reading about these in the early 2000s. Thinking they were the coolest thing.
We think the Nautilus is still just as cool.
4 minutes is not enough!

You don't often hear that about videos.
