Great video and very informative. Regarding all-in-2, you can activate Headgaze Navigation by pressing the power and select at the same time then use head movement to move the cursor, volume down to click/hold and scroll or volume up to go back. Deactivating requires the same action of pressing the power and select at the same time.
Thank you for sharing Erik! You said that this wasn't a review, but it was still an in-depth and comprehensive look at our newest hardware - we'll keep working to make the experience better than ever, and we look forward to hearing more from you in future videos!
I side with this, thank you a ton Erik. I have been following VITURE very closely since December 2023 and can honestly say I am loving the decisions and products the company is making. One question I have is whether or not the USB C adaptor works also as a video output adapter. I think this ecosystem would be a total game changer if you could take a break from the glasses and hook up directly to a monitor or TV so that you can utilize a desk environment to better manage software when at home I.e. updating apps, downloading movies through the streaming apps, etc so that you don’t have to put on the whole ensemble every time you want to manage the neckband’s content. Having the option to use it for both XR viewing and physical display viewing would catch the attention of many tech enthusiasts.
Really struggling to use my earbuds with these- the sound defaults to the glasses speakers no matter what I try. iPhone 15, JBL Bluetooth earbuds. What am I missing? Any advice? Thanks!
Hi great review on the neckband. Can the Viture neckband be used with a usb flash drive and be charged at the same time with an external usb hub adapter?
How is the neckband updated? Is it updated using its onboard UI or would I need to plug it into a computer and go to the Viture website to update the neckband?
Can you screen record ambient mode? Someone said there was a large amount of screen tearing in that mode and I was wondering if that's only when you activate 3dof.
Not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed to hear that the hand gesture isn't great. That was a big selling point for me. If I heard that Google Store and hand gestures work fine I'd buy it immediately, but now I'm not so sure.
The VITURE team have indicated that they are working to improve the hand gestures, so I'd say if you are on the fence, give it a few months to see what those improvements entail. There are a lot of other options for navigating apps and games though with the Pro Neckband.
Thanks for the video, Erik! I'm still waiting for my order (I'm in the January batch). It's a pity that the hand gestures aren't as good as they could be, but I'll probably be using a gamepad most of the time anyway, so it isn't really a dealbreaker for me. The 8bitdo controller that it came with, that's just a regular gamepad, right? I should be able to use any Bluetooth controller with it, right? Cheers!
If I instead use a PS5 Dual Sense Controller for navigation, what is the experience like? Does the PS5 controller auto connect to the neckband every time or do I need to reconnect the controller to the neckband every time I turn the neckband on?
A DualSense controller works great with the Neckband and the Touchpad on the controller can be used as a mouse interface. Connecting via Bluetooth is automatic when the Neckband boots up unless you have Bluetooth powered off.
TH-cam video and audio works, but screen goes black when I try and play a video on streaming services such as Netflix and SlingTV. (Audio works) Thoughts on this?
I have the Viture XR Pro glasses currently. I’m having a difficult time trying to figure out if I should buy the Pro neckband or a Steam Deck or ROG Ally to use for travel gaming and video watching? Any thoughts on these options? I’ll be traveling next month
This all looks great so far. Way better than the one neckband I have. My questions are, does the screen adjustment work the same in android mode besides spacewalker mode, or does it only work on Spacewalker mode? Also, what is taken away when switched from Spacewalker mode to Android mode?
None of the 3dof modes function in Android mode. You can't adjust the screen distance and would not be able to engage a locked in place screen or smooth follow.

Leo,
Thanks for these tips!

Been waiting for this.
Does the regular neckband have the same UI like the pro version or at least have a SpaceWalker operating system?
Can the pro neckband be used while it is plugged in so the battery stays charged?
for the controller, just hold R1+L1 to switch between cursor mode and game pad mode. with game pad mode, you can use it like a normal game controller.

Good stuff fam, simplifying the use would definitely be good, but i like the idea so far.

Over the air updates similar to an Android phone or tablet.
@ thank you 🙏

I'll see if I can capture this and share a short video of it if so. It may not be before the weekend.

Yes, the 8bitdo controller is a normal Bluetooth controller mapped like a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

Is this in SpaceWalker mode? If so, that is a Digital Rights Management issue that VITURE is working to resolve.
@@ErikHartley , thanks for the quick response. I found a work around.
It plays only in android mode.

Depends on the type of gaming. I currently prefer using my Retroid Mini with retro games with the VITURE Pro or other similar display glasses.

@@ErikHartley is the battery still long lasting for 4 hours on spacewalker mode or does it only work well through android mode?
