Holy Jesus, this is the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The amount of time you would have to put into this would’ve taken years if I did it this is up incredible piece of art you have so much potential you deserve way more subscribers

Thanks ,i cant quite remember how long it took me. I looked forver for a train to use as a base. Went to countless hobby stores. Had a few bigger ones but my god how expensive! And non were the right kind of train. So i though and decide just go from scratch. I used anything and everything lol. Counting paint i probably only spent about 10 bucks building it.

@@Bttfboy85 ,im a woodworker by trade, most of the main body( besides the caulk tube boiler) is wood i carved out. The flux bands around it are ear plug cords.the cow catcher is wood. The one thing i regret is not makeing the wheels convertable to land on the tracks. I also have several diamond select deloreans that i customized the rear time equipment to be movie accurate, also made 3 3/4 inch marts and docs for each movie,of coarse couldnt get as much detail in them as the necas.

@@charlesalexanderjr2247 it’s still pretty cool the amount of detail I’m a big fan of these movies but when I saw this, I thought it was perfect like you said the video the time train never really gets a lot of love with companies, so I’m glad somebody stood up and made one

This is one awesome model! The fact you built it too makes it that much cooler!

Outstanding! You really captured it well.
I love how Clara and Doc’s love of the Nautilus (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea) shone through in the design of the Time Train.

Great work! awesome BTTF3 train! This vehicle is also on my to do list ;-) Was it 3D printed or did you use a kit?

@@sva3897 ,thank you! No kit or 3 d printing. I built everything from scratch. Not knocking on 3 d printing but i much prefer doing stuff the old fashioned way. I kinda see 3d as cheating a bit. I looked a long time to find a train that would look similar but any larger scale is extremely expensive. So i just decided to make it. The boiler is a caulk tube, the tinder is a mix of wood, polystyrene, coat hanger wire, the cow catcher is wood, pretty much everything i sourced from laying around the house items.

Amazing how you made the train! I use a lot of 3D printing in my work, but sure know the skills it takes to create without it. A lot of respect people like you who work in the old fashion way!
