      Lots of business owners don’t want their shop to be filmed, in part due to the fact that everything is clogged with tourists at night, so he’d probably have trouble filming at night

John sempre super top! Soon I'll be Back in Japan! Bravo!

    Thanks for visiting Kabukicho! We walked the same streets again and it made me happy. "Ryu Ga Gotoku" aka yakuza and "Judgement" game setting, its called "Kamurocho" on both sega games. In the yakuza games the Tokyu Milano Bowling Building (Demolished 2016 or 2017) was still there in its full glory (VRZone Shinjuku Bldg 2017-2018), but in real life 44:35 mark we can see its demolished and a new one will be built on it. The Toho Cinema and Big ad screen was right behind john when he is facing the park at the back side of Godzillla he just didnt looked up behind and missed it ^_^ ps dont wander in kabukicho late in the night, if you wanna night vlog there i suggest 5pm to 8pm even if there is good police visibility, we dont want john or any of the visitors running into any of kabukicho's shady characters...

    Came in from my walk and saw your vlog was live 1hour ago...I love to spend time in my garden and then walk...my house is beautiful and I enjoy it so much. I like Shinjiku but the the other side to me is better close to Isetan. We found a great hotel with a bunch of little old ladies that had a good size place and the food was good...they would feed us for at least one meal a day...so reasonable...I hope they restarted their business after the world wide shut down. I would love to go back again soon.

That's something I really live about your content, sadly I didn't get to watch this live but it's always a great thing to wake up to in the morning!! To answer that comment, she's actually warning people about frauds on the street.

    aren't single layer stretchy masks like Pitta much less effective than 2 or 3 layer cloth masks? F1 racers have some very cool looking hi tech masks but they're like $40-50 each.

    • @onlyinjapanGO
      @onlyinjapanGO  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Effective? Only N95 will protect you and that if you wear a face shield of goggles too. No, it’s the other way around. Masks are like condoms. If everyone is wearing, little gets through. Risk is down, infections too. That and social distancing works. There are some cool masks though!!

    That Yokocho really is a fun part of Tokyo to see, unfortunately can be tricky to eat there unless your Japanese language skills are pretty reasonable. Often stay near there as it’s cool, historical aspect of Shinjuku though! Robot restaurant is the most tackiest, touristy thing you can possibly do in Japan......but it’s absolutely awesome evening of crazy entertainment - never had anyone I know that’s gone not have a great time with its over the top show!

    It is really incredible to see a city like Tokyo in 2020, a city that is going to host soon the most global event on the planet like the Olympic Games still not caring at all about the foreigners visiting or living there.
    Any notice, any warning they put around.....even if it is regarding such an important thing like Covid-19...all and always in japanese. No way to have the translation in english, no way at all.
    That is really something incredible to believe, incredible to understand, incredible to accept.
    The rest of Asia is not like that, only Japan continues with this nonsense. I really would like to explore their brain in the deep in order to discover the obscure reason behind this senseless mentality and culture.
