No Voiceplay drop is complete until Jennifer analyzes it. Many reactors have tried to explain all of this magical performance, but I’m sure this time I’ll learn something new.
I couldn't wait to see you react to Eli and Anthony playing off each other as the Twin Tenor Terrors. They are dangerously beautiful together. I love how Anthony is like the good twin with angelic riffs and Eli is the bad boy into metal and hard rock, haha! Yet together, what wonderful music they make, a balance of yin and yang. Meanwhile, Cesar is velvet that has some rough patches (and those deathly glares at the camera, I felt like he was accusing me) and we get confirmation that Geoff and Layne are not human. They are cyborgs. Already knew Layne isn't human with those sound effects, but now apparently Geoff is an electric guitar. Love it! I always look forward to you explaining the vocal techniques they're using, as well as catching BVs that I didn't hear my first... 50 times?... listening to this song. Thanks, Jenn.
Amazing reaction! You never cease to add at least 50 small (or large) tidbits of information that just make the song even better than before. P.S. You are outstandingly beautiful
I love Layne's clock sounds beneath Anthony's first verse. Eli also created the graphics in the background and built (with help from his family) the wall behind the group, and assembled/found other set pieces. He directed the video as well. This was shot at Vu Studio Orlando, the same place as Valhalla Calling, but this time they had working air conditioning. The costumes for this video were the ones that Geoff originally ordered for Sleeping in the Cold Below. They arrived too late for that video shoot, so Geoff offered them to be used for this one.
"Eli, have you checked your vocal folds? I would love to see what's going on." Call Elizabeth Z. She arranged to have camera stuck into Will Ramos to see what his vocal apparatus does. She could do Eli's next. Great reaction/analysis as always. MB @TheCharismaticVoice
Thank you Jennifer for another great reaction to Voice Play. Take notice near the end when Geoff does a low bass growl & Lane follows it up with a low bass inhale then Geoff looks over at him . I love how those two play off of each other. Also at the very end when Geoff does a low bass guitar sound & a bass guitar effect add along with it his voice.
Voiceplay and Geonnifer - what a fabulous way to brighten my day! Great insights as always, love the giggles and expressions. you are a one person acapella band 😊
(sic) "Ninguna entrega de Voiceplay está completa hasta que Jennifer la analiza. Muchos reactores han tratado de explicar todo este mágico estreno, pero estoy seguro de que esta vez aprenderé algo nuevo". (De nada).
Regarding Eli's vocal folds - they were worried about his rock screaming damaging his voice so he went and got scanned. Turns out he can just do that and it's not damaging him at all. They each have a singing superpower and that's his apparently.
I think the glitches from the song bled into my computer... right at around 23:35-40 or so, my wireless headphones disconnected... it really is an amazing cover at the end of the day, though! The original is... unsettling by design, and this one takes that to the next level, honestly.
there are so so so so many amazing things to focus on here the performance has the chaos of being sucked into the event horizon of a black hole however without Ceasar's gorgeous and steady baritone holding down so much of it the chaos would just take you away his anchor is so important in this to me. Another amazing reaction Jennifer I alway impatiently wait for your reaction any time they drop a song!!!
I really enjoyed this one and Anthony was the perfect addition to it. The harmonies are so smooth too. I swear that Layne is an alien with his voice. I listened to your and Ian's version of Taylor Swift's song and I loved it. Great job Jen
Jennifer! Yes I'm a bit of a Swiftie, particularly when you cover one of her songs. This one had you dropping to that F#3 repeatedly and you did so confidently. I loved it! Anyway, so Voiceplay after Disturbed ... I expect a bit of a different feel to this song. 😁 Wow, and they were but ... unexpected. I think there was a claw of confusion or perhaps amazement there. As you say just SO much going on, so many details it's hard to pick them all out! This was fun and a great way to get caught up on my Jen. Great reaction and analysis as always Jen.

Geoff's definitely a cyborg being able to turn into an electric bass guitar.
This makes me look forward to more arrangements by Eli. Love your reactions, I learn so much from them.

Thank you for an awesome reaction, so many interesting observations and explanations👍
Great analysis Jennifer - thank you. LOVE this arrangement! 🌹🕊
Thank you, Jen. I love your analyses. I always learn something new. I especially love when you analyze Voiceplay.
The riffs, the layers, the weaving, the drops, the belts...TY VoicePlay! ❤🔥

Waiting for Eli’s rock moment.
Into the apocalyptic age, Voiceplay is the new SoundGarden

Yay! I’ve been checking regularly, hoping for your reaction to this song.
Happy Saturday! Thanks for all you do
Hi Jennifer hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤

Love your reaction and I think this is VoicePlay's best to date
Such fun you have trying to mimic. Enjoyed
Voiceplay and Geonnifer - what a fabulous way to brighten my day!
Great insights as always, love the giggles and expressions. you are a one person acapella band 😊
Haha thank you!
Beautiful song, great analysis! Thanks Jen! 🥰
I think I'll call you Geonn from now on! What on earth was that high note that Anthony hit on that last (nearly last?) incredible riff???

Another one that I have anxiously awaited Jen! Great reaction and analysis!
I live for your "bass face" :)
I've been waiting for you to do this one! My new favorite of theirs! :)

With a range that easily goes from C1 to F#5 these reactions to voice play from anyone just makes me feel great.

The reaso for the unusual sound. This is Chris F-in Cornell, one of the few who can compete vocally with voiceplay...
There is a reason 5 people have to do Chris... Bow to you sir! And Bow to Eli, Cesar, Geoff, Lane, and Anthony!

Always so much going on! 😁 thank you!
I can't help myself, but I think the introduction sounds a bit like on rewind, but with the words forward.
Please, Reaction DIMAS SENOPATI - ALONE by HEART, Thank You Before
Let's review Jenn's top 3:
1) Aspirate onset
2) clash notes
3) Eli's tongue.
Honorable mentions:
Geoff drops
VioLayne
Cesar's face.
😂 sounds about right!
Funny enough, Geoff's said Eli's had a scope done within the last year just to make sure he hadn't done any damage.
Please check Dimas Senopati cover song(Heart) ALONE❤❤❤
Dimas sinopati heart alone 👍👍👍
