In this episode of a Day on the Water I caught up with Carl Jocumsen's mum Shelly to have a chat about Carls journey to achieving his life long goal of fishing the Bassmaster Classic. We recorded this interview about 3 weeks before the Classic.
We hear stories of Carls obsession from an early age for fishing and how he forged his career in Australia where he won everything there was to win including a Bass Grand Final and appearing on The Australian Fishing Championships (AFC).
Carl sold everything and moved halfway around the world to pursue his dream to qualify for the US Elite Bass Series and ultimately the Bassmaster Classic.
