Yes! We walked across and walked on the beach. There were other people having picnics, flying a kite, etc. It might not be very warm most of the year, though.
This hotel does look really nice. But I really do not like the way the light comes through the bathroom door. Why would they do that? That really would light up a dark room at night. I love the layout of the room except for not having any racks to put your luggage on. Great view from the window! Glad to hear they have such excellent customer service!
It is a mystery why so many hotels do these bizarre things with bathroom doors! I guess they think it looks cool? But that and not providing a place for luggage are definitely not very practical and really make me wonder if the people who design some of these rooms ever actually stay in a hotel.

Sounds similar to a stay we had earlier this year in a new hotel here in Wisconsin.
