There is a good chance this will be better than the first run. No executives or people outside of MDE to tell them what they can and can't do and steering things in different directions. All raw, genuine creativity and motivation. The environment they can truly be themselves and be 100 percent comfortable in the way of not having others breathing down their neck. Can't wait!

sometimes execs wrangling an unhinged "creative person" can be a good thing. some people need to be wrangled to not accidentally turn a good premise into a schizophrenic turd. im sure this won't be the case with mde, adult swim definitely butchered a lot of their show with all the censorship (especially the titlecards which they lazily censored with black bars and screen blur), but i would be careful with that type of rhetoric ("no producers/execs = better") when speaking generally.
Having no restrictions isn't always good. Remember Sam's point about car design, constraints, and how they force creativity. A good chunk of Sam's arguments should be taken with a grain of salt, but he's spot on about constraints and creativity.

I remember having a really shitty opinion of Sam and the entire crew back in '15/16 thanks to the Idubbbz Kickstarter Crap episode, then watched World Peace around 2020 and it completely changed my mind. Mr Jomha's documentary was just the frosting on a cake - dude made himself look like an absolute buffoon and instead gave Sam a new, (now) dedicated audience. As many mentioned - true comedy will last forever, Jomha and similar shills will slowly fade into obscurity and irrelevance. Stoked to see Season 2!
