    Surprised this doesn't have more views but i guess not too many people are watching videos about soil science. I'm watching for a course while working from the computer. Perfect with a long video like this. Informative and even entertaining.

    Thank you Tessa! Preparing for my soil science final and this was really helpful as we have no in person classes due to COVID. Your style is great and super easy to understand. My textbook is quite difficult, so I appreciate this!

    I listened while painting a house-how i make my living for now. My hobby is raising red worms producing vermicast. Eventually i want to give worms away bc they are free-how i collect and transfer them to you is what you can “pay” me for.

    Thanks for the video.
    Just one note. I believe it is actually untrue that pine needles acidify the soil. Though they are themselves acidic, when they break down they become more neutral.

    I don't understand, why not add more clay to sandy soil and vice versa, instead of organic matter?

    • @ReachingRoots
      @ReachingRoots  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is quite hard to add clay and sand, since they are heavy and it would take a lot of volume. Organic matter is lighter and holds a substantial amount of water per percentage in the soil.
