  • Chakra Dutch pour on two canvases!
    I really enjoy doing the hair dryer / Dutch pour method and figured it would look really nice with the Chakra colors that I've used in the past. I did two canvases, one with the reds, orange and yellow and the other with the green, blue and purple. I didn't get too many cells, but the way the colors blend with this method is beautiful!

    These are the most beautiful ones I’ve seen. And I’ve seen some really great ones. You have such a way with how you do this I just noticed the way your wrist moves to create the design. Love your work. I just read something about a book I don’t think I have heard about that. Maybe I should go to your Website and see if there’s any information. Thank you so much for your postings

    My paint mix seems way too thick compared to yours, what kind of ratios are you using in your paint recipe for this type of pour?

    • @amandasdesignsofficial
      @amandasdesignsofficial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use about 2 parts medium to 1 part paint and then slowly incorporate water until it is the consistency that I want. For the dutch pour I tend to keep it slightly thinner or else the hair dryer won't push the paint around enough.

    So in the beginning it looks as if you have a small glass bowl in the center of the canvas. Yet you didn’t use it in your painting. What does the bowl do and if it’s part of this painting it wasn’t shown.

    I like the Flower Motif you did with the dryer. This is my kind of art as it leaves each viewer to his/her own imagination! Great colors!
    I've done a few pours and found my own way of doing things which is what we all strive for. Pretty soon I will be taking other art work hanging in my home and filling it up with my own work! Thanks so much for another technique I want to try.
