Cool, I didn't know about some of the secret life locations, thanks for the video :) I also hope you will make one for the other levels, as I'd just like to know where they are you :) As for the area in the Desert level where you can pick up 4 gems, you don't have to jump there - you can just walk right and you'll end up in the correct spot :)

@@JuddJones I found out that by getting the hidden life in level 1, the Mickey ears hidden life no longer works. I tested it a few times and it really seems (even though it doesn't make sense to me) that it's one or the other. Also I found another hidden life in the Desert level, but not sure how to explain it. I could send a screenshot anywhere, though.

I have some information about the area with the Abu token at 0.55
To the left of the Abu token is an area with a gem and a knife juggler. It requires a precise jump to reach, and if you mess it up, you can't return... Or can you?
Go to the flagpole you used to get the Abu token and Super Jump left. Just as you are colliding with the wall, slash with your sword. If you time it right, Aladdin will pass through to the other side.

Why am I just discovering super jump now? I was wondering how to get to those 1 ups, especially in the third level.

Great video, but why skip so much? Secrets areas in later levels are still interesting even if you don't need the extra lives, and I'm really wondering what "freezeability" and "map view mode" do. Hopefully you can make a part 2 video exploring the rest.
The secrets don’t show up after 9 and 99. After that you just walk through empty levels. It’s weird. Freezeability back in the day was a way to do slow motion by putting turbo on the start button. And map view is just to study the level, if you need to collect something to pass the level, map view mode will leave you trapped in the level with no way out. Thanks for your support. @@JuddJones cool, thanks for the response. Brought back memories of getting a controller for my bday that could do the turbo/slowmo thing, good times. As for the other levels, would they work if you intentionally died or skipped the earlier extra lives so you're not maxed out? I definitely seem to remember finding some hidden areas later on. Cheers

Thanks for saying how to do a Super Jump!!! I have been trying again and again how to reach some of the items without any success. Never figured it out that there was a specific way to do those Super Jumps!!!
I have a question. In the dungeon level (that you didn't showed up here) do those Mickey Mouse hats on the skeletons make appear some special items? I can't align his head with them.

You know I've always thought that super jump was near impossible, I can't believe after all these years that the secret is so simple.
In the past I was told that to get the Abu token in Agrabah rooftops, you had to fall off the clothesline and land directly on the flagpole several times(and not because you had to practice or anything) Maybe there was something about it in the instruction book, I had better look at it again.
Oh and one more thing, you don't have to cross all that water in the final section of the cave, it's actually possible to bypass that jumping sequence by jumping off the carpet at the right time, I know because I've done in on more than one occasion, although it's been a long time so I can't remember how exactly and if you do it wrong, well just remember that Aladdin can't swim in this game
I don’t get how the super jump works
First you walk, not jump, off a ledge.
While falling press and hold jump.
When you hit the flagpole while holding the jump button still, Aladdin will super jump off the flagpole. Thanks for the support!!

@@JuddJones ohh. Thanks a lot mate. By the way very good video showing some secrets of the game that you made. I found out that there are 2 1ups, 1 at the escape level and other is at the end of Genie Lamp level at an almost unreachable positions. Any idea how to get these?

on 2nd level, i see some closed doors... but i don't know how can i open then... only the missions not others doors :(
