Slovenia team should be amazed by any n all volleyball watchers, including me. My my only 2 million people beathing Italy's 59 million people country, even 2million people beating 335 million people like US?? Speechless. Well done indeed Slovenia should go to 2024 Paris Olympic! US
It's actually incredible to see Slovenia doing grreat, not only in volleyball but also in cycling and basketball for example, since they are a very small country. Don't forget that Italy was playing with very young and mostly inexperienced players. With the first team it would have been a totally different match. Still great tho
I think it’s also worth keeping in mind that a lot of players have plenty of experience in the italian league

There's something so 🔥 about Cebuli, but I can't quite explain what it is
Ja też Go bardzo lubię. On w reprezentacji narodowej jest nie do zatrzymania. Oglądam Asseco Resovie i tam faluje, bywało że trener Go zostawiał na ławce, nie zawsze grał. A z kolegami Słoweńcami gra cudnie. On potrafi drużynę pociągnąć do srebra. Często jest głównym atakującym. Często jest bardzo zmęczony bo to wąski skład i często uzupełnia energię na time out i coś podjada. 😊 bo jest ledwo żywy. Uwielbiam. To jeden z moich ulubionych siatkarzy.

0:25, 05:11, 06:15, 07:23, LUCA PORRO excelente técnica y efectividad para atacar, recepcionar, defender y en el saque (sus saques me recordó a la Olímpica China 2004 Yang Hao que sacaba dando la impresión que iba a salir fuera de línea y cerca de la línea de la net) y ni que decir de BOTTOLO una máquina 0:47, 01:11, 01:26, 04:30, 05:40, 09:54, Bottolo Excelente técnica y efectividad con mates fuertes tanto en el saque como en el ataque.
03:22, 04:15, 08:32 A Bovolenta tiene talla pero sus ataques son lineales y no tiene visión ni técnica, sabe que el bloque es alto y tiende a matar en vez de colocar o matar en el bloqueo para que salga afuera.
Y ni que decir de Laurenzano 08:54, 08:56 el punto es de Laurenzano lo salvó de una manera increíble, ya veo porqué es el mejor líbero del mundo.

Good loss, useful to make experience for this team (even more younger than the team A who is already young), good also that it was played in Lubiana, this is what's needed to grow (it's important to remember everything).
Said that, the VNL (final stage included) it count nothing, maybe can for countries who have never won anything, not for Italy (I will write the same even if Italy win the VNL, anything change), only 3 tournaments are important: Olympics, World Championships and Europeans (so this year just one count: the Olympics Games).
I'm tired that, the country who won more in the last 50years, makes the collection of silver and bronze medals to the Olympic Games, our gold "curse" must end (even if our is a young team).

Unfortunately, when Italy plays with reserves (team B or C) it is difficult to win, especially against teams that do not make turnovers.
With the A team we would have won with our eyes closed against this Slovenia, instead our young boys are not yet ready for these challenges

Italy had to played this VNL with all the starters (cause were still not qualified for the Olympics), so, the moment they mathematically qualified, the coach give rest to the starters (who are: Giannelli, Romanò, Michieletto, Lavia, Galassi, Russo, Balaso) and lined up this guys (even more young than Italy A) to give them experience.
There are the Olympics in a month, you think to Italy (or other big teams) cares about the VNL?

Fefe dał wolne pierwszej drużynie bo byli już bardzo zmęczeni, ponieważ to są zawodnicy grający do końca rozgrywek ligowych w dobrych klubach. A ten tu skład to rezerwa Włoch plus młodzież która ma doświadczenie w siatkówce klubowej ale nie ma w reprezentacji narodowej. Wszyscy tu piszą że Włochom nie zależy na VNL . Myślę że zależy i zobaczymy w Polsce na finałach pierwszy skład Włoch.
Jak trener ma okazję zajechać swoich podstawowych zawodników do granic możliwości, to zawsze to robi. I teraz też tak będzie

Italy seems to aim for a position between fourth and fifth place, above all to avoid Brazil and France in the quarter-finals, but everything can change because the teams are very close in the standings. They just concentrating on preparation for the Olympic. They don't care about VNL, probably they will not use A team for VNL finals. And if today Slovenia will beat Serbia that's will be cost Italy first poll in draw for Olympics so they didn't lost this match deliberately.

@@laziosa ja myślę że Włochom zależy na VNL i będzie pierwszy skład w Łodzi w finałach. Po co trenować w swojej hali w kraju jak można się przetestować na żywca na najlepszych drużynach w Łodzi i jeszcze może zgarnąć przy okazji nagrodę.

i would like to know too. I saw that basically only Italy had like 2 match in less than 24h at least twice. I think part of the reason is to make the main team rest but for no player of A team to play at all i find it a bit weird. Maybe they decided to give up the vnl and concentrate more on the Olympics?! but i am not sure...

They're rested and they're right to be fit for the final 8 and especially for the Olympics. Slovenia have been playing with the same team since the start and I think it's going to be hard to keep up physically for the Olympics (given the average age of the team).
Blud, the Italian coach is giving space to their younger player to make them experience the National Team. And of course they aren't bad, they played very well against a strong team like Slovenia, look at the highlights! And please, stop the criticism
