Richard Hammond helped find Hue the 1st ever Landrover he made a documentary on it in the UK. When it was found it went to a private sealed Auction , Sir jim Rattcliffe the British billionaire owner of Ineos and part owner of Manchester United beating Landrover themselves with his bid. It was mechanically restored but left with its battle scars. It was finished in time for the official road release of Sir Jims Ineos Grenadier. Along with a fleet of many Ineos Grenadiers it was driven over 3000 miles through Mongolia. Obviously the Grenadiers were built due to Landrover having stopped the production of the original defender also ad they wouldn't allow Ineos to buy the rights to carry on building them.

The number of W198 300SLs found in barns is just unbelievable. 🙂
